I have been here at the Father Hurley Blvd, at Germantown, MD. For more than 4 years, I rented a washer and dryer from a company they deal with. I decided I didn't want to rent it anymore, I informed the assistant manager, back in November of last year, she didn't tell me I had to make the request in writing 30 days in advance, so the appliance's could be picked up. Ana informed me to write the letter and I did, I put the letter in the slot on the door where we put our rent, payments, they claim that the letter was lost, Ana went on vacation for about 3 weeks, I had to wait until she came back in order to ask about the letter I wrote, of course she said it was lost, she told me to do another letter and I did, because she didn't tell me about the 30 days they want me to pay for the whole month of January. It should be their lost not mine, Matthew is not training his staff properly.

Well last year it took two months to get rid of ants coming though the south window and frame. There is only one pane and not a good fit between window pane and frame. Air comes through as well. Cheap ! Well everything is cheap including the Scientific Insect Control company who comes every Thursday ONLY to exterminate insects. I am on the forth floor and ants are running across my window frame outside and some come in. I actually believe Scientific had NO control over the ant infestation. The weather got colder and the ants ceased. Well, it has started again. I have in my window sill an ant carcus. I let the office know and right away they sent someone up to my apartment to treat the inside of my window frame. How idiotic! The ants come in from outside. I asked the Scientific Rep if he could treat the outside . He idicated he needed authority from the office. I told him to get it and do a job. However I never knew whether he got autorization or not. I emailed the DIRECTOR and his comrade and got a reply that the outside of my window/unit was treated. Really? How through access of my apartment - no as i was here. From outside? Doubt that as I am on the forth floor. So it starts again. I would have given one star, but its only a coupple months! LOL
