If you want unprofessional mangers, oh let me use there so called professional title Resident Service Specialist this is the place for you. I don’t know how these people got a job. It’s obvious you need no special training at all. Anyone can have a job. Careless, heartless, I could go on. It seems this complex cares more about the outside, new paint on buildings, newly paved parking lots when the inside of these units are falling apart piece by piece. There so renovations are cosmetic only. You would think they would take better care of the inside of the apartments mainly because the residents should come first !! NOT!!! And let’s talk about the RATS AT NIGHT!!! Zillions of them. They Rome the parking lots scrounging for food!!!

Move elsewhere. If you care about your safety choose better. They have a maintenance man who keeps allowing himself into my apartment without notice. This time I was sleeping. He had unlocked my door five minutes before I realized he was there. I called the office early morning to make a complaint and didn’t get a call back until after 6pm. A a very apologetic manager called and said she already spoke to him about the situation. She spoke to him before speaking to me but after getting a snippet of the story from a third party then called me. She said I should be receiving a call from him to apologize and she was also going to send a follow up email. I haven’t heard a thing from either one of them. Corporate never answers and if you leave a message they won’t call back. I don’t feel safe and he has the ability to come into my apartment anytime he wants. They never sent information about who is on the maintenance team but we are supposed to just trust it because they are wearing a company shirt when they walk into your apartment without notice.

I moved into Canterbury 2 years ago and it was my first apartment on my own. I have had no issues until the new management company UDR took over. I liked the installation of the smart locks, however, these recent changes are ridiculous. Paid visitor parking is unheard of and very inconvenient. If all of the spaces are rented for the day then you have to hope for the best. They also have increased rent by 30%! OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! I will not be renewing my lease because I do not wish to give 30% more into rent when I have no major changes to my specific apartment. UDR should really be ashamed of themselves for basically forcing out longtime residents. This is also a very good way of how people become homeless with these significant rent increases.
