Went for a fingerprinting appointment. Despite being one of the first appointments, they were already more than 10 min behind. For being a service required and yet still have to pay to help the school system, they should work on more punctuality.

As an involved parent I'm just so sick of this county and the lack luster education that they provide for these children. I never rate or comment on anything. That should say alot about my frustration. Smh

I am a PGCPS alumini and parent and I've had more problems with PGCPS since my children were in pre-kindergarten. When my children initially began their pre-kindergarten 3 year at Kenmore and I must say, a few months into the school year I became livid with how the school nurse, principal, and SPED coordinator handled an incident that they claimed occurred where my son became sick while in school. The school called EMT and had my rushed to the ER without my consent because they claimed that my son experienced multiple vomiting episodes, which was false. The school nurse never provided me an incident outlining the incident nor was he indistress or showing signs of pain when I left work early to rush to his aide at the hospital. Also, the school was unable to accommodate my son's educational needs. He did not benefit from attending Kenmore nor did he receive supplementary aides and services to modify his academics. Through reasonable accommodation and after an IEP meeting that I requested with the school board and staff at my son's school, the school board ruled in my favor to have both of my children exceptionally transferred to an out of boundary school that could better accommodate their educational needs. I was very pleased when both of my children attended Francis Fuchs for the duration of their pre-kindergarten 3 year and complete their pre-kindergarten 4 year at Wheatley ELC. Of all the PGCPS's that my children have attended in the past both Francis Fuchs and Wheatley were the best schools. My children are now in the 2nd grade and my daughter is now attending Cora L. Rice Elementary. So far I really love the teachers she's had her kindergarten, 1st, and now 2nd grade year their but the principal and vice principal are terrible. They have poor communication, they don't record written incident reports when children get hurt in the school, and they ignore parents' concerns/complaints. My daughter has experienced several bullying incidents this year alone since she has attended this school and the principal fails to provide me with written incident reports for each offense that my child has endured. Not to mention, personnel who work in the board of education building are lazy and rude. I've spoken to quite a few PGCPS staff from teachers to paraprofessionals and other classroom aides who feel overwhelmed with heavy work loads and are underpaid, and unappreciated. Children in some of the early learning hub schools are displayed in the classrooms unfit to accommodate their educational needs and their IEP's are inappropriate coded with misleading information regarding the child's medical diagnosis. It's sad how PGCPS's label all special needs and disabled children as autistic without medical documentation to support assumptions. PGCPS is full of scandals and very deceitful of the problems faced within the school district. On Wednesday April 27 my son was involved in an accident that occurred on his school bus while being transported to school. Leave it to school staff to protect the image and reputation of PGCPS, my son's school nurse Carla Young, sent home a typed report in my son's book bag briefly outlining how she examined him and his physical appearance once he had arrived 45 minutes late to school but she failed to mention the nature of his visit. I don't appreciate how she tried to cover up the fact that my son was involved in a school bus accident in the report that she sent home. That was unethical and very poor judgment on her part. To add insult to injury parents of PGCPS students are becoming fed up and tired of all the drama that comes with having their children in this school district. There have been recent parent and teacher protests outside the administrative building and they have been in the media publicly through channel 5 news to address issues within PGCPS, which all concerns have been sweat under the rug as usual. Ridiculous if you ask me!.

This is the administration building for Prince George’s County Public Schools. Most district offices are located within this building. They are helpful and courteous but it's a big place so you have to follow up to make sure that things get done in a timely manner.

No. You can't take a dog. It is an office building. You can take a dog on the park and planning property which is the track and field, but the actual building is PGCPS property.
