I had a great time at this park and it was clean and had plenty of space for parking and the pavilion was adequate. The bathrooms needed paper products and some toiletries needed extra attention (rust), but it was clean and accessible. My main concern though was - why were we CHARGED 3.00 PER PERSON when my family already paid for access to the Pavilion? I am a veteran and I drove my truck - but the park still charged my wife????? Foul on that play.

Officially - I saw nothing prohibiting any animals - leashed or unleashed. But there were 5 dogs leashed at the park last Saturday.

There are some paved areas and dirt roads that may be ok but the perimeter trail would be difficult in a lot of areas

Is there a fee to enter the park? If so, why are there no signs that specifically and easily show this?

The ranger I ran into 2 weeks ago said that it's $3 per vehicle all days of the week (until some directive is issued to go back to normal fees). Normally it's $3/vehicle on weekdays and $3/PERSON on weekends. It's written in conveniently tiny font on one of the many pieces of paper taped to the "entry station" 😆 Had the person not been there to explain that payment was necessary and the process, it would still be a mystery to me. There are envelopes and a Dropbox at the entry station. You put your $$ in the envelope, tear off the perforated portion of the envelope and keep in your window while parked on premise. Then slip the envelope into the Dropbox and carry on! Happy adventuring!
