Great question! Cattle are rotated every 1-3 days depending on how large the paddock is, the time of year, the grass that is in season (cool versus warm season grasses), the amount of rain we have and ensuring they have enough shade when its really hot.

We sell our beef several different ways. In the Spring and the fall we sell “quarters” and “halves”. This is the equivalent of a quarter or a half of a cow, providing a variety of cuts, total weight ranging from 80-150lb to 160-300lb. These portions must be ordered and paid for in full before pickup. Please sign up through our website and you will be notified as to when these sales are scheduled. All of our beef is from USDA inspected facilities and we do not allow on farm butchering.

From our farm, we sell frozen beef. We partner with Bowling Green Farm in Bryantown, MD for pork and eggs. We would suggest checking out Southern Maryland Meats (https://southernmarylandmeats.com/) for other local producers who sell lamb and goat.
