Sand Lake is a pristine small lake with great fishing. It's truly beautiful. It is within a short distance to Tippy damn and other small lakes. It is within a mile to Borne's market. They have best best selection of jerky and cheese curd in the state. Their steaks are to die for.

Great camp ground. Pros and cons. Pros. Clean bathrooms and nice showers. has a ice chest at campground you can buy. And wood as well. Nice host. Now the cons. Site 34 has a fire pit. But is positioned so far away from the site it's almost into the next camp site. The pads at the camp site could use some updates. Very unlevel. And the steps to the beach need just 1 one step. That's me nitpicking. But in all. Great spot would go back. Also would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Dublin general store. Lots of great stuff and lots of GREAT jerky!
