Pastor Jonathon Evans is the best sermon orator of the Bible's messages I have ever had the pleasure of receiving. He has inspired my growth as a Christian believer exponentially over the past several years. I highly recommend this church for those seeking deeper spiritual thought and highly intelligent sermon's at First Presbyterian Church of Wickenburg. The people at this are church are kind and caring. So it's always a very rewarding faith confirming experience.

Not specifically a Stephen ministry program; however, we have a very active and caring Deacon group that is intentional about providing care to those in our congregation in need or who are going through a difficult time. They are a very compassionate group!
PCUSA in the Grand Canyon Presbytery.
No, the food pantry is open on Friday morning only.
FPC Mesa has a Food Pantry and 50-60 bags of groceries are given out every Friday morning to help those in our community facing food insecurity. We also participate in I-HELP, a ministry for homeless women. 25 homeless women sleep in our Fellowship Hall every other Sunday evening and are provided with two hot meals (dinner and breakfast) as well as a lunch to-go! We have mission trips annually and have brought our Vacation Bible School up to the Navajo Nation. We also traveled to the Mexico-US border in the spring of 2019 to better understand all of the issues at the border and some of the solutions that help folks stay in their home country. We have a preschool and also host two Head Start programs. The Mesa Adult Literacy Council operates on our campus, teaching English as a second language. We also host a Hispanic congregation who worship in our chapel at 1 pm on Sundays. We are always listening to God and looking for more ways to be a good neighbor and serve our community!
The Presbyterian Women will host a bake sale on Sunday, November 24th, 2019 in Fellowship Hall in between our two worship services (around 10 -11 am). Lots of yummy treats will be available and the funds go towards an important mission cause!!
It's typically in the spring of each year. You can check the calendar on the website for the specific dates. For 2020, it will be held March 27, 28, and 29.

From Labor Day - Memorial Day we have two worship services. The more traditional or blended service begins at 9 am in our sanctuary. We also have a contemporary coffee-house style worship service with our excellent praise band that begins at 11 am in our Fellowship Hall. During the summer - from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend - we have one combined worship service that begins at 10 am. All are invited and welcomed with Christ -like hospitality!
