Hate the masks, but everyone is nice! The employees are great! Sure don't understand the masks! Hate it! Other than that great place

I don’t know where to even start! I’ve been a patient here for years. In general the staff are kind and the place is clean. BUT there is a serious communication problem. Somehow there was a mix up between the insurance, pharmacy, and the doctor and in the middle was ME… without the life-saving medication I needed. I called all three entities every day trying to get it solved. The standard answer was: “I don’t know how to help you but we will look into it and call you back by the end of day.” No one ever called! Ever!!!! I had to go into the facility on day 5 (still without the medicine I’m supposed to not ever miss a dose of) and demand they give me copies of the prescription so I can at least go and get it filled out of pocket. A few hundred dollars is better than dying right?!? I get there to Banner and standing in front of me is another family having the same trouble I am. And what does the receptionist tell him and me? “We have 72 hours to respond to medication issues.” Okay that’s great… it’s been 5 days!!! How many hours is that?!? You do the math!!! The complete lack of compassion on her part was astounding in the worst possible sense of the word. Her poor customer service skills and lack of basic human decency would better suit her for the DMV or the Prison System than it does a family practice where people rely on the staff to help them navigate the nation’s deteriorating healthcare system. I will be leaving Banner as soon as possible and I suggest all of you do the same!

Holy cats!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!!!! DO NOT trust this clinic with your healthcare, DO NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Calls go ignored, messages get ignored, and to top it off, managers of the clinic, go home early on most days, what a joke!!!!! Most of the doctors( and it is lower case, cause they don’t deserve the title!!) keep accepting new patients, so the current patients can’t get into see their primary care physician, weeks, sometimes months! Their answer to that is, go to the urgent care, so you can get another, I can’t do anything for you, go see your primary?!? Corporate world of medicine is getting just as bad as the corporate world of money!!!! Please, to save you the trouble, don’t find a dr there, I am hoping other banner clinics are better, but I bet they are not!!!! By the looks of the reviews, they don’t get many high ones!!!! Do your research before getting involved with these drs!!!!

My wife & I have been going here since 2014. Our Primary Doctor is located at this location. Easy short drive from Apache Junction. The staffing has changed a bit since Covid but we only see one doctor here & can deal with the exception behavior of some Banner Staff Employees. And another big plus is a Sonoran Blood Lab is located inside the same building. I would not recommend coming here for an emergency since Banner has emergency center's set up all over the place.

Brandon | Oct 6, 2018

It depends on a few things. Insurance approval, whether the doctor sent it in as a STAT referral, and lastly the doctor you were referred to has to call you and it can take longer if they are overbooked or are a bad doctors office. Typically no more than a few days up to a week though in my experience. Hope this helps!

If you like rude and incompetent staff/assistants this is the place for you. If you like waiting an hour for 3 minutes of face-time with a doctor, again great choice. Seriously though find a good small family practice, difference is night and day.

Any information on the new hospital on Elliott and Ellsworth?

Does not appear to be open yet but being so close to the slop ponds it is rather smelly. 😕
