I was in the program for a week when another client called me a faggot… it seems petty I’m sure but when they said, “that’s not nice” I swear I thought that I was in the twilight zone… that’s when I realized that my best interest was not in their hands. They kept saying, “lots of guys here are gay…” kinda like when people say, “I don’t have a problem with (blank), lots of my friends are (blank)…”… They didn’t stick up for me, in fact they made me feel bad about it as if I had done something to provoke him saying this to me. I am currently considering what my options are to make myself feel better about the entire thing.

crossroads has saved mine and countless others. keep up the amazing work thank u for my new life free from the chains of addiction that bound me. so all of you people that have absolutely no clue what it takes to actually beat addiction, stop trashing people that are trying to better themselves and a company that actually believes in what they are doing and the people their help. In fact yes the believe in their patients so much they do employ a lot of us and for that I thank them. all u judgment people out there just remember when u or your loved ones had no one or nowhere else to turn crossroads and all of us addict employees welcomed you or your loved ones in with open arms. Also remember addiction does not discriminate it covers all race Creed color religion.....so just because a person is SICK WITH A DISEASE doesn't mean they aren't capable of being a normal productive member of society working at a job where their past experience with addiction makes them uniquely qualified I say again uniquely qualified to help others that are combating addiction kind of makes sense huh.

Went to see a friend & attended the AA Meeting. It was great I was able to glean information for myself. Everyone was respectful & the facilities were clean. Nothing fancy but when you have hit rock bottom & you're looking to get back on the straight & narrow who cares? The energy vibe was positive & the group seemed to care about each other! Work the program & it will work! Love the judgment free zone here!
