Why does crossroads maker recovery so hard my girlfriend just graduated and went to sober living when she got to sober living she realized she was not ready but when she tried to go back they said they could only take her if she was dirty so she relapsed to get back in and now the supervisor won't let her back in they want her to do outpatient but she can't go to the sober living yet cause she's dirty good job crossroads I look forward to seeing new freedom put you out of business

If you're past the need for rehabilitation and ready for the next step in your recovery (IOP or any other outpatient treatment programs) and striving to start taking steps towards putting your life back together, don't expect management to have your back. They will try everything from talking you down condescendingly to coercing you with pressuring threats of discharging you "against staff recommendation" which could hurt me when it comes time to show up at court.
