True honest review...day in and day out I watched the BHT'S, NURSES, DOCTORS, CLEANING STAFF, MEAL PREP, AND SOCIAL WORKERS show up to work and do their job the best they could. They ALL deserve a raise...although I was not happy staying there, I appreciate the dedication to your jobs...thanks to Carl on unit 5 for keeping it real and to Carol the social worker for all your help...the psychiatrist that helped me figure out my meds was awesome 👌...

Most helpful treatment I've received. Gene (not sure if I'm spelling it right, shorter African-American man with an accent) is one of the kindest and most caring people I've ever met. Gail is amazing and she was so nice and might be the most authentic, caring, nicest, and overall great person I have ever met. She actually cares about her patients and truly wants to help. I might have her name wrong but Nurse Teresa (older woman with very blue eyes and semi-curly blonde hair) was so nice and made me feel so much better about myself and my situation and felt closer to my Mom than a nurse at an inpatient facility. There was an older and bigger male nurse whose name I can't remember but he taught me how to play chess and was just kind. The only "complaint" is that the food there isn't that good but then again you aren't there to have a fancy meal. I was mad for quite some time because a stand in doctor told me I would be going home but the primary doctors told me I was going to a long term facility. Everything else was great. I was there over a year ago and they prescribed a medicine to help manage my weight and glucose levels that I still take today. Overall amazing I met some really cool peers there too and I felt good about being there. Thank you guys for truly changing my outlook on life. -Dominic :)
