Was camping at Anderson Road campground for 3 nights. It was super hot, so wanted to go swimming, but after finding out the beach is not by the campground and then finding out they don't allow dogs even though some reviews state they do, we didn't end up going here. Disappointed to have a camping area and area dogs can swim.

Great place for the family. Lots of shade. Barbecue areas and restrooms. Grandbaby loved it.

It’s decent. We went on a Saturday. Super crowded but still lots of room. People playing music and grilling. I feel like some people would hate it. But it was nice. We hung out under a tree, swam a little made some sandwiches and enjoyed the weather. Parking situation was garbage.

They actually close at 630 pm promptly. Just went yesterday. Loads of fun. Also its free admission!!!
Yes I was just there yesterday June 13 2020. It is free admission for the summer also.
No but everyone walks down to it.
You can also cook out and also has a playground and campground
Nice place for picnics an family outings. Kept up and maintained nicely. Great rates
Yes
Yes, beach and parking is open.
Hamilton creek rec area is good for kayaks too. Take a left once you go in the entrance. The left side is easy to launch a boat. The right side is the sailboats. Near the bmx park is ok too
Its closed technically but you can still access it. Plenty of people including us were there last weekend. Its a little walk to get there so pack smart.
Last week when we were there I saw people camping on the islands but not Anderson beach itself. With that being said the beach is technically "closed" but you can still access it by walking around the barricade. I would take the chance and go ahead and camp :)
Not sure we went around 12 and stay til 4
It's opened you just have to pass the barrier and walk through. Just went yesterday and the beach was full and fun.
Don't make the mistake of walking all the way around the lake from the parking lot if you walk straight down the road that's blocked off past the guard shack and follow the swimming sign it'll literally take you 10 minutes to get there as it took me 35 when I walked around the whole entire Trail LOL!!! Make sure that you go early to ensure that you get a parking spot in the parking lot to last I almost got a parking ticket parking along the street I was the next car in line but will be able to get to my car and leave before that happened

They just started charging again this year. $5.00 a day for vehicles and $3.00 for wall-ins.

Yes
Sorry. I'm not sure how to do that.
I'm not sure. So sorry. Didn't see any there.
No pets
Yes. I visited 4/25/2021
Not to the beach area.
The beach is open to the public from 6 am to 8 pm. There is also no charge this summer for admission.
No they aren't open. But we did walk through and go. If you park on side they will give you a $25 ticket.
We were just there two days ago and the beaches were fine as far as safety goes. There is no lifeguard, fyi, but they do have life jackets to use for free. They are first come first serve.v
