I have been overjoyed with my experience at Earnestly Natural. My first appointment was March of this year. Angel’s expertise has elevated my knowledge and ability to be able to wear my natural curls. I never thought it would be possible! I’m so thankful that I invested in the knowledge and tools to have healthy hair. ❤️

Angel is AWESOME!!! My curls have never looked this good. Her techniques were able to take my curls to another level. I love that she walked me through how to take care of my hair and why doing things a certain way will help me achieve the look that I’ve been wanting. I would like to emphasize that she helped me with a personal, tailored list of what my hair needs and not just a general set of items that’s given to everyone. Then my cut and color are on point. I’m so glad she walked me off the dye my hair black ledge lol. I’m excited to see how my hair turns out when I do it myself but that will wait a few more days. It’s day 5 since Angel did my hair and it still looks good. Thanks Angel -Little Monster

Back in early 2021, I was really looking for an exclusively natural stylist to elevate my curls. After going through THREE big chops, I was ready to crack the secret to long-lasting wash-n-go’s. I didn’t feel confident or comfortable with the knowledge that I’d received from other stylists or sources. And, it was obvious that my curls would not “fall” and that I was stuck with a low definition afro. I had extreme coarseness in the middle of my head and my afro would just fluff up around that. Detangling was a pain. My hair looked consistently thirsty. I knew this wasn’t optimal. I stumbled onto Angel’s instagram page and became fascinated by the JUICY curls I was seeing. I took notes from the videos (where she chose to bless us ALL) with voiceovers and began to focus my attentions less on styling and more on product application from wash to styling. What started as an Instagram obsession led to me booking my first appointment with Angel — the Elevated Curl Experience. My hair has never been the same. I have the length. I have the health. I have the JUICY curls. Angel goes above and beyond just being a stylist. She really seeks to impart wisdom on all fronts and I have valued knowing her as a peer educator and mentor. Since my first experience, I have chopped my hair off again — not to start over but to have the cutest bleach blond pixie! Angel has opened my eyes to all the things a tight curl pattern CAN be with the right products and the right application.

We had a Mommy and Me Session with Angel. It was my 4 year old’s first time in a salon and Angel did a wonderful job making her feel comfortable. Angel was very patient as we worked through a hands-on session with my little one. Angel is an expert at her craft. I left with an abundance of knowledge on curly hair; I walked away with concrete plan on how to care for my daughter’s hair going forward. I would highly recommend Angel’s services to understand how properly care for hair. My only regret is not finding her sooner. Without her help, I would have likely continued a nonproductive, trial and error regiment. I’m thankful for a session like this being offered by Angel. I have yet to find another service that is comparable with education and hands on specifically for parents (my husband even came along to learn).
