I'm really glad that we went to the UNT passport office. The people were extremely helpful and the process was quick, smooth and easy. Now just to wait until we get our passports and off on an adventure.

Excellent experience. Very courteous and helpful staff. I didn't mind paying the $35 for their service. Will definitely recommend to anyone applying for a new passport.

She can use her expired passport to renew, using it as her proof of citizenship. Call our office for more details and let us know if she was 16 years old or younger when she applied for her expired passport; this determines her next steps. We look forward to helping you!
Standard processing and shipping time for all renewals (and new applications) are 4-6 weeks. You can also get it expedited for 2-3 weeks but it's an additional $60 fee (on top of the $110 for the book). Processing times are subject to change by the Department of State.
You will need your birth certificate, social, and photo ID. You will also need the filled out application and make sure to not print it double side it. The fees vary, $110 for a passport book and $30 for a passport card.
You are able to do pictures along with the regular passport appointment - I think they just have a separate appointment for people who only want to just do photos. In fact, they're cheaper to do there at UNT passport office ($12 for 2) than at CVS across the street ($16 for 2).
Just to clarify $110 or $170, depending on if you choose to do routine or expedited, would go on a check or money order and the $35 and the $12 fees would be on a debit or credit card. Let us know if you need anything else!
Hello Karyn, You would need to submit proof of US citizenship which can either be a government issued birth certificate (we cannot accept photocopies) or a previous passport or a naturalization certificate. Birth certificates must include the full name, date of birth, and place of birth of the applicant as well as both parents' full names. The issuing authority’s seal and signature must also be visible. If you are using an abstract birth certificate they must have a capital letter “I” after the date filed in order to be accepted as proof of citizenship by the U.S. Department of State. Abstracts from California are not accepted. Hope this helps!
Yes, of course! Photos are $12 each, you can pay with a debit or credit card.
Hello Ronald, You may pay the execution fee and the photo fees with your debit or credit card. However, you will need a check or money order (made to the US Department of State) to pay for the passport book and or card. Best, Passport Services Team
Yes, you can! They are $12 with a debit or credit card and you receive 2 photos.
