I came here back in 2020 ,when the staff was amazing and Majority black! Now since its Mexican - American in charge they really don’t want to help Black people that are in school and working! They have a new lady with very very bad broken English doing the interviews. She stated just because your in school doesn’t mean you’re different from anybody referring back to the scheduled time for meetings. She stated even the people who have their PHD has to follow the meeting schedule. First of all you’re lying if you say someone with a PHD comes here for the little 400 bucks! Let’s be real they ask for way to much information to only help with 400! I will never go back to this place! Before she tries to lie she needs to fix her English skills. That is unprofessional to have someone who doesn’t know how to put a full complete sentence together work in a “professional place”

Racist. Angela was very comfortable in telling me that we Americans, have it easy. Because they don't get help. This is racist! And bias ! This woman is not looking to help black women in need. She has very bad broken English and doesn't understand you. She should only handle Spanish,if she doesn't comprehend English well.

This place helped me. The only thing I would be weary of is the maintenance man Michael. He made me very uncomfortable. Talked about me to other residents who then told me and just had a complete issue with me. Very unsettling. If you flirt with him like I've witnessed other residents do it may not be a problem. It's all about finesse sometimes. I just couldn't.

Interfaith helps families who are temporarily displaced and provide different resources that fits the needs for families.
I'm so sorry to hear. I'm sure they will help if they can. Give them a call and explain what it is your needing help with. Maybe they can..Nothing wrong with trying.
Give IFS a call in the morning and they will do intake over the telephone. Look the number up on line and visit there website.
Yes. Fully furnished.and if you graduate the program. You get to keep everything. From the dishes to the wall decorations.
Current resident... Visits can come over, they're just not allowed in the apartments without an approved background check.
They provide housing
No ma'am we don't sorry
Housing for families, daycare for children, financial assistance for rent and utilities. Computer lab to job search
The only thing I hate you have to do job search from 9-5 and you have to give them 30% of ur check everytime you get paid and they keep it of you leave the program early and you have to let you kids go to there day care but other then that u get ur own apartment. If you r not working and u get money on the side don't tell them
They will not. What kind of pet do you have?
Call interfaith in the morning they will help you and them babies
Call tomorrow a screening
If you have children who are living/will be living with you they will help...Give them a call and see if you can do a application so that then you will be assigned a case worker who is there to answer all of your question and help. Salvation Army has a program as well that can provide shelter if need. Hope this helps!
Interfaith is transitional housing they don't pay your bills
No it's for families men and women and children
It is not only for violence, so you should be able to get help
Hello. Possibly. Go there and ask for Veronica and explain your situation. Kids must live with her.
Also you can try Samaritan Inn in Mckinney Tx.
Hello, Sorry you must have children.
It depends on your situation. Im sure they will try and help as quickly as they can. Talk to a lady name Veronica. You can tell her I told you to contacr her. It is goos that you will have a job
Yes have her to call and do intake over the phone and they will tell her the qualifications.
You would have to have children who live with you.
Yes you have to do a interview and pass a drug test. They will go from there. Its a process and everyone is not accepted into the program. You have to attend Job search every day looking for work that pays $14 a hour and higher.
Be able to pass a drug and background check.
Only the mother and her child.
You'll also have to apply for acceptance. It's a really fantastic program.
Yes you have to have children for this program.
Im sure they have resources to help in her situation. She would have to call they have shelter info for people that dont have kids. But she wont be able to stay at intetfaith as it is for families.
Yes as long as you have a child and are drug free. It is for single parents male or female, couples with kids, and husband and wives.
No
Along with what Lynette Staten said, you also need to be working or aggressively looking for work. Be ready to be transparent. If you get in, follow the program and mind your business, you'll be successful. Great program
