customer service I received by phone was 5 stars. very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. ππΏππΏ Unfortunately, my feelings are so hurt. Once I did all I could do on my end... they had no openings. What a waste of both our time and energy. Good organization and communication goes a long way. I went through a lot to get my certified birth certificate for the application... basically for naught.

Hey sweetie, sorry to hear that my sincere condolences! Do you already have a child/ children?!? If so, they may be able to assist you! But if not, they will not with you being pregnant. They do not serve hot meals, only a food pantry and they get to the office anywhere between 9-9:15 am. If you are not working, you have to maintain program rules and regulations which are Very strict and if they haven't changed it- you have 90 days to get a job and save $. Hopefully, this helps you and anyone else, I was there for 3 months recently.
Yes, I have a room both men and women.
They give special consideration to those with kids. I would go talk to them and see what they can do!
Yes they do if you have documents of homelessness
You have to call ask for Ms. Morrow. They should though. Are you homeless? Let them know i referred you
It's a program for women
No just women's and kids
Set up an appointment go by and see if and what they can do to help you....
I don't no longer live there because of the rent lady was not trying to pay me back my stuff because of the mistake of her resident got my stuff tooken away and was trying to charge me extra but she should have room it's 550 and if you can't afford that you should go to share housing they will have a place for you for 400 dollars
Where are you located also use auntbertha.com it can locate shelters.because your child is so young try Bellas house or bridges safe house.if your under 24 you can try a youth agency
Shared Housing is helping me and my family Great Program to help families in need
Yes they do but there is a waiting list
Beverly, I am not exactly sure but maybe you should send them an email and ask. I am of the belief it is for single women with kids but maybe just single women. But if not they can tell you who does and where to go. Good luck!!!
Shared Housing Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to break the cycle of homelessness for the elderly, single parents with children, and persons with special needs. They offer non-traditional permanent and transitional housing solutions, programs, and services that create independence, empowerment and self-worth. Hope this helps. (I volunteer and support this organization)
