Recently remodeled, very accommodating Senior center!

Update: The renovations were completed during the pandemic (lucky timing, considering!). The renos have brought the senior center into the 21st century, and my dad & I love it! We do wish the Friday hours would return to a later closing time, as pre-pandemic, which was 5pm. The RSC has a lot to offer the senior residents of Richardson, Tx. They occupy an old bank bldg, and have left the center of the bldg open, for maximum occupancy. The center has a cute, volunteer-run cafe, which serves hot meals and cold sandwiches daily, with very affordable fare! There is a glass enclosed workout room, gift shop, three 8' pool tables, a piano, and numerous daily and weekly activities.

I don't know Joe, you can call them over there in Richardson and talk to them. I really would have no idea how they do that. I just go to the dance on Saturday night once in awhile

There's a rec center down the road (Heights). This is a senior center, membership for 55 years and older.
Yes for classes and babysitting if not mistaken but not wondering around. Please ask the center how does it works
There's a $5 lifetime membership fee for Richardson residents. For non-residents, it's $15 a year.
Just for seniors
I go there to square dance ... great fun, exercise, and socializing, open to all ages. If you can walk, you can square dance - not like regular dancing, you should try it!
Try calling Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. I talked to a lady that got dental work there. If you are on Medicare, which I am, and I use Humana, you can add on dental or if you already have it you can even add on extra dental, which I did for $16.00 a month. Also, supposedly you can get a dental grant through the government, which I'm not sure if this is true or not, but it's worth looking in to it to find out.
Not much info there a lot of broscures for seniot living..a fitness center...4 ladies play games about 4 men play pool n a snck center n thats it i know of
