Beautiful, remote, quiet. Tubs have hot and warm spigots, nude and clothed areas, great pool. Went in August and had the place nearly to ourselves. Gas grill and pavilion available, would be nice to camp but cabins are lovely and cozy too.

This is the second time I come here. It is a small green space in the wilderness. I like the nature here. There are all kinds of birdsong, owls, hares, chipmunks, squirrels. This time I also saw coyote, enjoy hot springs, Enjoy the endless grassland, the sound of the wind, the clean starry sky, just let it go!

Pool is standard heating when we were there. The tubs are so fabulous,. It will be all you want
They do have camping. There is more information here: https://www.merceyhotsprings.com/
Yes you can go for the day. Many people do. Not sure the exact fee but I believe it's $35 per person for the day. You have access to all of the hot tubs (which you fill yourself so they're always clean) plus the pool, the private showers, the sauna, the hiking trails and so forth. Bring a picnic and plenty of drinking water. And hats ! the sun is pretty intense during summer. From Merced head south on I-5. Take the exit near Firebaugh (going west). The exit will say something like: "Little panoche Road" Better yet just check Google Maps. PS there is zero cell service out there. No Towers. No service. Be prepared. 😎
