This beach is very pretty with super soft sand. There were beach roses growing, some pretty little purple flowers and I even found some yellow poppies. There was alot of red seaweed. The beach is clean. They have life guards during the day.

Pretty small beach that's very close to the mansions of Newport. I grew up in California so I'm used to Pacific beaches that seem to go on forever. This beach is fairly small as it's flanked by peninsulas covered by homes. As far as I could see, this beach only has paid parking. Not a beach for look for shells as it is picked clean. Not much plant matter and no shade. Sand is comfortable to walk on barefoot but not so soft that it is difficult to wash off. No offensive smells (some beaches smell like putrid seaweed on the West Coast.)

super busy area, parking is $25, beautiful beach, nice walk up on the cliff, lots of surfing! really smart birds that will pick up a clam shell off the beach, fly away with it, and then drop it to crack the shell to have a nice little lunch. who knew!

We visited this place on a weekday morning so it was not too crowded. The beach was clean and relaxing. Parking lot was $15 for the whole day or there is a meter parking along the side of the beach. The location was great because the beginning of Cliff Walk is near it. Additionally, the beach is located near the Newport harbor (restaurants, hotels, and shops) which takes around 8 minutes by car. Don’t forget to try the delicious lobster rolls at the Easton Snack Bar!!! I highly recommend it.

Generally, dogs are permitted during the off season, after Labor day until Memorial day.
one hour free parking for customers of snack bar or Save the Bay aquarium (use parking lot just past rotunda) Snack bar also provides curbside ( or beach blanket) delivery
Yes there are.. But watch out for the red tide it comes in on those big waves
50°-70° tops. Not beach weather yet. We're still stuck in a late running April, lots of cool weather and showers. In fact, the last 3 days (11th-14th) 50°'s cool rainy everyday.
I arrived there on Saturday, 08/19/17, just before noon & it was $20 to park my car in the lot.
Have always assumed they were private, rented by seasonal members of the beach. Try Peabody Beach near 3rd beach, get there early. Or Gooseberry Beach. Easy patk and walk. Great lunch food. Perfect setting. Good luck. All 20-25.00 to park
I don't know if you are allowed but I do remember seeing groups that had grills set up
I wouldn't call it a true boardwalk but definitely a concrete pathway to walk up and down. There is also a carousel for the kids $2 per ride. As well as, a small aquarium with touch tanks. It costs about $7 per person. There is a small restaurant on site as well.
Usually free parking after 4pm
No fee to visit beach if you walk, ride a bike or uber there. parking costs $$$
No fee during October
Sea lice eat the seaweed, stick to the clean seaweed free area's #EBSP4LIFE
