My husband and I used this company regularly when living outside of Boise. We needed to ship a piece of framed artwork to Miami in June, so we went to Postal Annex. The man working that day said he would be sure the framed artwork would be packed correctly and we had no reason to believe he wouldn’t. My husband left the artwork there, paid for the expensive shipping and left it in what he was assured were “good hands”. The box got to Miami and the receiver called us and told us that it sounded like there was broken glass inside. We asked them to cut a hole in part of the box and take a picture. Sure enough, the artwork was NOT wrapped, not cushioned, not packed with any kind of care at all….and the box didn’t even have a fragile sticker on it! It was dropped in the box at Postal Annex with ONE piece of loose cardboard and sent off. The frame, the glass, the print were all completely ruined. We called them and described the issues and either the manager or owner said he would call us back. Nothing! My husband and I have both called the shop and no one answers the phone, no one returns messages…….they are completely non-responsive. They won’t even refund the SHIPPING costs we paid to them! If you have something of value to ship….go elsewhere. This business is not one to trust with anything you want to arrive safely on the other end. They don’t deserve even 1 star, but I had to leave something to post. Shame on Postal Annex….taking people’s belongings and money and not having the decency to take responsibility for their irresponsibility.
