Park needs some maintenance-the slides are sticky/rough so you can actually slide down them at all. There seemed to be a TON of mosquitoes. Also, there's no parking area so you have to park in the neighborhood and walk in a ways, which is an inconvenience with small children. There are much better parks nearby.

Yes, their are often more dogs than people at Hewett park.
