Had to wait to get in and then I kind of felt like they thought they already knew what I was going through things were kind of generalized.

I’m very grateful for West Care it was a amazing opportunity I have never been inside a rehab before but everyone was so nice and understanding… Michelle deserve credit she is just a case worker and she handles everything I would watch her work over time daily and if something got hectic at night Michelle would show up all hours of the night also Rochelle is so sweet henzel helped me so much manage my withdrawals & keep me comfortable… yes they do have some not so professional staff but all work places do … If yoh have the chance do PHP program that’s what helped me the most not just dealing with withdrawals but learning why we actually use and dealing with all the hurt and past trauma LIZ & Micheal really helped me get through that and I’m nothing but grateful….

West care on maryland up at the moutian has a lot going on from people coming up dirty but can't leave and no visitors to ex addicts passing out the meds. And meds coming up short then they blame who ever meds come up short. And then will kick you out and when you ask to talk to someone in charge they will not give you no info. .i thought that place was a good place guess not .wht would you have ex addicts handing out meds thats a trigger and then you kick my son out 2 weeks before he graduates .well we will see about this

Have any of you ever been in detox?? Yes you can they even give you a cigarette 4 times a day especially at Westcare they will even give you a nicotine patch if you want it .
Yes but it's best to make an appointment
Yes there are very many
My wife works there. She says if u got to and for a detox no.. you need to stay for the first few days then after is a different story
This is just a detox center they do not prescribe that for you
At the detox facility (323 S. Maryland) visits are not allowed. But if you're In the 30day program there then you can leave for a few hours a day to visit whoever you'd like.
They use correct meds. No worries there. You can 100% detex and stay off forever with a continuing program or on your own. They can provide you a ongoing program if want. Good place.
I did 30 hours of service there 3 years ago However, I had been a client and graduated a 90 day program before that. Policies change frequently with Westcare, so I advise you call them to find out. Mostly they had me cleaning the facility and grounds. Also, if somebody else has done community service already the day you come to work, they may not have any for you. That happened to me a couple of times. Good luck.
No!.....Call and ask if they have any beds available! Don't just go! If they don't and are full... you wasted your time! If they do they say come in and go in. Intake is few papers and questions etc etc and verify your really on something and a safety check. Phones etc are taken and held upon release. You won't need anything anyways. Place provides everything you need and more. Remember call 1st! Ifthey have a bed available they will tell you come in. You gotta keep calling 2x day if there full as at anything a person can walk out and they have a bed. Or person is discharged or moved elsewhere etc.
Westcare 90 day inpatient much easier than Salvation Army program cos they don't make you work all day then do recovery. No bed inspection Nazis either.
This service is principally drug and alcohol counseling mostly done in small groups, although 1 on 1 meeting w/ counselor occur monthly. Not free per se, takes Obama Care insurance providers and will help insuranceless clients to enroll in one. A lot of policy changes lately, call or drop by to find out. They should be open now. Good Luck.
They can't give out any information (HIPAA liability) about adults, even to family. If she is there, she can ask to use their phone to contact you. Her phone would be locked in her property until discharge (usally 3 days from intake) Good luck mate.
10am-10pm they can call. 7pm-8pm there is a meeting and have the phone away. If you do call they can deny the call its a H.I.P.P.A. violation to give you any info about him, if he/she puts you down then they can give you more info about him/her. If its not a nevada number they have to make a special request call out of state.
Call and find out if they have any beds i just called and asked "do you guys have any female beds open" and if they said yes i just walked to one if their locations snd tell them i wanted to be admitted after i rand their doorbell
