would of gave 5/5 but when i checked out (about 7:05 AM) I went to the breakfast area to grab whatever they had (muffins, cereal, pastries, etc). all I saw was juice and coffee. I think the super 8's are suppose to have more of a breakfast than that. they have excellent lighting across the entire property. I felt very safe (as I did not arrive to check in till 9:30 PM).

I have stayed here many times over the years and its gotten worse with each visit this will be my last stay. Room was pretty clean but lots of minor issues. Room was clean and they even forced a clean when we where leaving the next morning and said no need but we spent a week and didn't have them clean while we where there. All the things you want at a hotel where broke or no longer an option. Pool broke they said fixed next week but got the feeling that their go to line. Breakfast no longer offered. Used their laundry room and 1 washer was broken. Bathroom door in our room was in poor shape. Shower had signs of mold starting in hard to reach places like corners and behind the soap holder. Parking lot fenced off to help limit homeless and drug users. Son walked over to whats left of tennis courts and saw 3 needles sitting there. Always had homeless outside the parking lot. Place just felt run down and when doing laundry heard every customer tham came in to check out complain. Staff and owners/management did nothing to correct the issues. I think there was a wedding or some sort of party at the conference room by the old breakfast room one night and most of the people at the party stayed at the hotel so it was loud until almost 3 am. Now I did feel ok leaving my car in the lot so long as it was locked and I did see salem police department drive through once in the 7 days we where there.

Heater didn’t work, bed was broken. We were here for two nights and maid service did not come and clean our room. Pool was closed, looks like permanently. The “breakfast” was a granola bar. I expected more from a Wyndham affiliated hotel. Not what is advertised that is for sure. The beds were comfortable, that’s about all the positive I can say.

I loved it here! Right off of the freeway, and many of the places were walking distance from the hotel. Can keep an eye out on your car through the peephole if your park right in front of your room. Staff were very friendly, chill, in good spirits, down to earth. Very accommodating too. Very quiet at night and got some good sleep. Only problems were the toilet seat being a bit small for me, and noise from the outside can be heard from the inside during the day, even with the door being completely shut closed. Minor though. I love Oregon 🦫
