Salt Sanctuary of Maryland is a genuine place of healing and solitude. I have been going there for many years due to my chronic sinusitis. After salt therapy sessions, my breathing is deeper and easier and my voice is improved so much that a friend asked me what I had been doing differently. I told her about the Salt Sanctuary and she now travels from the Eastern Shore of Maryland to get treatments. It is a very clean, friendly, calming environment. Nikki, the owner, does a wonderful job making sure your needs are met. In addition to the healing nature of the treatments offered, the experience is so peaceful with no phones ringing, no loud voices or demands being made of you for 45 glorious minutes. I make this a regular part of my life and am very happy with the results.

I have been going to the Salt Sanctuary for over a year now. Absolutely love this place. It's a great self care practice and have several health benefits. I feel so relaxed after I'm done. And the whole place has a calming vibe. The owner, Nikki, is so sweet and caring. I feel so pampered. It has also helped me tremendously with my allergies and respiratory Health overall. I have been to another Salt Room in VA that is not nearly as good and nice as this one. I have also purchased the salt bath and Pain Relief. OMG I love those stuff. It smells so good. I definitely stocked up during winter time. Lastly, Nikki takes excellent precaution during the pandemic. I completely feel comfortable being there.

I wanted to love this place. I’ve had positive experiences with salt rooms in the past, but this was not one of them. The staff were great and the room is beautiful! Unfortunately it doesn’t appear that their system provides the appropriate magnitude of filtration etc that takes place in a salt room. Only the person who sat directly in front of the tube, pumping the air into the room, would receive the benefit. The room did not visibly fill with salt “smoke”. Usually you can feel and taste the salt doing it’s job. I left feeling just as congested as when I arrived. Sadly, I would not spend time or money to return. I hope they upgrade their system.
