We visited in early August the day Jimmy Buffett was playing at the Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. Although I wasn't born when Woodstock was held, it was really cool to visit the site. We enjoyed the area and added our message to the sign.

The Bethel Woods Museum hours are posted on their website, however the monument is open always. I would suggest sticking to the hours of sunrise to sunset as a general rule to avoid any trouble 😉
It's right behind the museum and if you drive past the museum it's the first road to the right. Can't miss the pull off area

Yes there is a fee to get into the museum and the price is $19.69. for adults but I forgot but it is for kids. I know there is a discount if you order the tickets from the site. I don't know if there's any other discounts besides that or coupons.
