Went and saw Top Gun in the theater with screenx. Let me tell you as a movie enthusiasts this was one of the coolest experiences I've ever. You'll definitely need to check this place out if you love feeling a part of the action. The screens go both in front and beside you and with the surround sound system truly makes you feel like you're right there.

The two stars are a reflection of how comfortable I felt in this theater. It seems that corporate greediness has finally overtaken common sense in the construction of this theater. Cinemark has decided to start putting the seats so close together you feel like you're in an airplane. The experience is no longer going to the theater and has turned into an uncomfortable packed in like sardines feeling. I will not be going here again.

The movie hall was nice and clean. It took us 15 mins to get tickets and popcorn (slow!). Manager did not send another employee to help out. The sound was also too high I had go out and ask the manager to lower it. People were listen with one finger in their ear.

My family and I were so excited to see an early release of The Batman on 3/1. Unfortunately it couldn't have gone much worse. To start we arrived and the staff were attentive. We were allowed into the theater 30 minutes before the show. Once the previews started rolling was the first misstep. The longest trailer for the movie was played. Robbing the experience of fans who may have avoided seeing trailers to be unspoiled by the movie. After that trailer the screen went blank. Within a minute new film was rolling with a countdown for the movie starting. The countdown ended at 730pm, 30 minutes after the first preview started. Without looking at my phone for the time I cannot be certain, but we got about two thirds through the movie and then the emergency alarm in the theater went off. It said an emergency had been reported, please exit. Emptying the theater took q couple of minutes, it was a packed IMAX room. Right before we hit the main lobby someone yelled false alarm so everyone shuffled back to their seats. It was unsettling that staff didn't come in and formally announce to everyone that it was indeed a false alarm. The movie was also playing during this evacuation so we missed about 5 minutes total of the film. It kept rolling, and then 15 minutes after returning to our seats the screen went blank. My family and I left at this point. Totally ruined the movie experience after months of anticipation. As we were exiting the theater the screen turned back on but had jumped ahead, so everyone was up in arms. As we headed for the exit doors in the lobby a staff member yelled that we could return to our seats, they were going to rewind the film. 4 tickets to this disgraceful showing off a film cost us over $80, I couldn't be more displeased with Regal. The movie itself was impactful and visually stunning. Can't wait to see it at a local mom and pop theater or Century.

IMAX theaters - A standard IMAX theater has a huge rectangular screen. A typical IMAX screen is 16 meters high by 22 meters wide (approximately 52 by 72 feet), but they can be much larger. The largest IMAX screen is 30 meters (98 feet) high. Imagine standing next to an eight-story apartment building that is wider than it is tall. That's how big the screen is! It is many times larger than the screen at a normal movie theater.
No, the seats are soft, but do not recline in a fixed position. They lean back slightly.

All of regal was taken over by a company in England. They're making a lot of changes...the problem is, they're changing a lot of it to how England likes things, not the US. (The Tea Party was supposed to solve this.)
