Yes you can use maiden name license you also need your marriage license
Social security cards are free, just go i to the office with two forms of i.d. and they will give you a temporary right on the spot and your permanant will be mailed to you within a couple weeks

I normally get my SS check by the 24th of each month. It is now the 26th and no check has arrived.

SS checks are deposited on Wednesdays. You are probably the 4th Wednesday of the month. Sign up for my social security online and it will tell you your date of deposit you wil probably get it tmrw the 28th
