The location of the hotel is its strongest selling point. Gas station, restaurants, grocery stores, and 64 are within a few miles radius. The rooms that I stayed in were mixed. The first one had unpainted drywall fixes, peeling ceiling paint, and a water leak from the bathroom light fixture. The second room was in much better condition. The both rooms were clean, had luxury vinyl flooring and new furnitures. I could hear noises through the wall a few times. The fitness room smelled musty but the pool looked clean from a distance. The staff was mostly good, two were outstanding in their service. Lastly, there were lots of parking spaces and I felt safe the whole time that I was there.

Room was very clean and cool. Comfortable beds. Well furnished. Shower was excellent (clean, fantastic water pressure and temperature). Great lighting throughout the room. Everything worked well. My only knocks on the property are the pool is in disrepair, and the inside hallways are a bit warm and musty, but once inside our room, we had everything we needed including a very cold refrigerator. I'd stay here again because of the overall value for the price.

SUPERLATIVE STAFF! I stayed here during the Arts In The Park Art Show and I was impressed by the entire staff here: from the manager, to the front desk, to the cleaning staff they were all friendly and professional! I know I have quirks, as an artist, and they dealt with me calmly and professionally. They even helped me find a 'missing' delivery that was mis-labeled. This is a quiet hotel during my stay and I did not smell any smoke in the hallways, which is rare these days and much appreciated. Also my room was clean, had plenty of room to work, and had a big TV and fridge. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! (One note: there is a $100 security deposit if you do not book through Best Western directly)

I have a service animal. I called the hotel before I booked to find out their policy. I was told bring your paper work and it’s no problem. I couldn’t find the place and they were great about staying on the phone until I found the place which was extremely nice. I got there and checked in. And was asked what purpose the animal served which is fine. However, when I was ready to get something to eat and was informed by the front desk that I couldn’t leave the place with out my service animal. I questioned her about it and The asst manager behind the desk said, “ I don’t mean to hassle you…” but that is our policy. I was never told that over the phone. Part of having a service animal is that you make sure they are well taken care of because they take care of you. I wanted her to be able to spend time out of her crate because she was in it for a long care ride. It is disappointing when places don’t understand the nature of a service animal or why you have them. Needless to say the whole experience left me feeling uneasy and anxious which is exactly what I was trying to avoid. I get that people aren’t always good with their animals but when yours is More than a “pet” you take extra steps to ensure their comfort and care and training. What started off as a good experience has turned into a bit of a not so good experience. Educate yourself as to the nature of service animals and the different needs they meet. Clearly the staff here doesn’t get it and that’s unfortunate. Thankfully where I went to eat they were very understanding. I had higher hopes for you best western executive suites. You won’t get my business in the future.
