We bought $40k worth of appliances at Specialty Appliance for our recent new house. We love the appliances, but not the installation. They didn’t install the drain hose for the washing machine in the drain pipe (still taped to the outside of the washer). They loosely placed the drain hose for the dishwasher into the drain pipe with no secure way to keep it in. It eventually came undone and flooded the kitchen floor. They neglected to turn the water on going to the dishwasher after installation. Not what we expected from a premium appliance outfit.

I had originally left a 5-star review for Specialty Appliance because of the buying experience that we had with the sales rep and the promises of expedited service for repairs. We purchased a range, fridge/freezer combo, microwave, and dishwasher. All the appliances look great in our kitchen. The problems started after the installation. The first phone call to Specialty Appliance was about the freezer not producing ice the week after it was installed. They instructed us to read the manual and tried to troubleshoot the problem over the phone. Two weeks later, plastic edging fell off the fridge and Specialty Appliance sent out a tech to reinstall the plastic pieces. The tech showed us how to reattach the plastic pieces when they fall off in the future. We have had to reattach the plastic pieces numerous times. This is not what you expect from a $15,000 appliance. The fridge went out three days past the two-year warranty. We have been dealing directly with the manufacturer ever since. We have had nothing but problems with the appliance and are basically left dealing with this issue on our own. It has been a horrible customer experience, and nothing we would have ever imagined. We would hope the store would help us with our lemon of an appliance.

Our contractor recommended we work with Tim Willhite for our kitchen remodel. Thank goodness we went with his suggestion. Tim has been a delight to work with and is very knowledgeable about appliances and what would work best for our kitchen needs. We are lifetime customers and would highly recommend Specialty Appliance and working with Tim to anyone in need of appliances.

You could try Craigslist or Facebook Marketplace. Specialty Appliance sometimes has open box dryers available in their clearance center as well.

Specialty Appliance only carries new appliances, not parts.
If you call the local store with the model number of your current wall oven they should be able to help determine what will fit in your existing space.
