I had a horrendous experience with Sears Home Appliances. While the salesman was helpful enough in selecting appliances for my needs, he was either ignorant of or hiding the fact that “supply chain” issues are significantly delaying the quoted delivery times on their products (Interestingly enough, I was able to purchase alternative items through another local retailer and they were delivered on time…go figure.) I purchased a stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher in late April, with a delivery date of mid-May. The dishwasher was delivered a month late in mid-June, the refrigerator was delivered in mid-July, and as of this writing, the stove has not been delivered. To make matters worse, the refrigerator arrived broken and on multiple occasions the deliveries were simply cancelled with no notification, meaning multiple days waiting for a delivery that never came. Attempts to resolve these issues were met with slow, unhelpful customer service and zero attempts to show remorse or rectify the time and money lost as a result of their actions. I get that it’s a weird time for manufactures and distributors, but honesty doesn’t cost anything; if I wanted to be lied to, I’d just call my ex-girlfriend. TLDR: If you want to buy appliances for your unborn grandchildren, Sears is your company, but I’d recommend ordering them now so they *might* arrive in time.

Not my choice to use this company, for good reason. American Home Shield dispatched them to my rental property to look at a dryer. The technician said it needed new parts and that he would order them. I received an email that same day saying the parts were on order and they would be delivered to my property and the unit repaired approximately one month later. Around the time of that anticipated date, I had to leave the state for a family emergency. I was gone for about two weeks. When I returned, I saw my tenant and asked about the dryer. She relayed it had still not been fixed.I contacted customer service at Sears and was informed that the job had been canceled weeks prior because parts are no longer available. Sears did not notify me, nor did they notify American Home Shield. I have been paying for a rental dryer for about five weeks now. If Sears would’ve notified American Home Shield in a timely manner, I would have a new dryer by now. Again this is not my first issue with this company, they are unreliable and undependable.

Beware of ALL Sears appliances. I live in CT but purchased a nice new refrigerator less than two years ago. The $2K fridge died after less than 1.5 years, and Sears was unable to fix it, after several tries and many phone calls. I was stuck with a lemon…AND also found out many of the parts are made in foreign countries and are hard to obtain. Sears tried to bill me twice for the problem they could not fix, and on two occasions out of three, the technician was rude. Again, Beware!

Welcome to 1968. Sears here is alive and well. The Fort Collins store was clean and well stocked. No great sales. Sales staff not pushy. Many fridges, many clothes washers, 3 Huskvarna riding mowers on show room floor from about $2,600 to $3,300. Some items bore clearance tags but the clearance prices objectively did not seem good. Wide variety of manufacturers covered. Good variety of product.

They have a very limited stock of those kind of accessories. You can go to sears.com and order any part, piece or accessories you need and it can come to the store and be picked up there. Or come to your home.
