This is by far the absolutely worst apartment complex I have ever lived in. I have lived there for almost two years and cannot wait to end my lease agreement so I can move out. The maintenance team has absolutely zero consideration about the residents. At this point, I no longer put in maintenance requests because they go completely unseen. My heat does not work so I rely on space heaters for warmth in this bitter cold winter. I have had several heat and a/c issues since moving in. I am treated as complete inconvenience. I could go on and on about the insane amount of issues that I continue to have. I have made phone calls and sent emails with zero response. While I haven't put in any requests recently (because they are worthless), I am writing this review in hopes that no one else experiences the same situations I do. Last year, it took me over a month to have my drains cleaned in my bathroom- I still have the same issue today. I have called when my heat has dropped so low in the middle of the night that I woke up freezing, the maintenance employees treated me as a complete nuisance. I have had dishwasher issues to the point where my dishwasher is completely unusable, despite informing maintenance. Fortunately I handwash my dishes, however I suffer from severe chronic asthma and respiratory issues. My dishwasher contains so much mold and stale water- I was told simply just to put bleach in the dishwasher and run the cycle. When I do this, I have to open the dishwasher, which creates the worst breathing problems. I had a mouse in my apartment a few months ago- and I live on the second floor. I have found frogs in the basement- which I have caught and released outdoors. I have complained about domestic assaults and abuse within the complex and nothing has been done. The railing outside of my apartment building has been broken since last summer- absolutely zero attempts have been made to fix this. The sidewalks and parking lots are rarely salted so they become extremely hazardous when walking outside. I used to love living here- resigning my lease was a huge mistake. The basement laundry room is never taken care of- it is FILTHY. The ceilings are caving in, the walls are covered in mold and cobwebs and it smells like a dungeon. The inside of the buildings are outdated, stairways are covered in cobwebs and the windows are covered in dirt and bird poop. It is ironic to read the amount of similar reviews, especially written so recently. Nothing has been done and I do not believe it will ever be changed or fixed. I cannot wait to move out in a few more months. Please stop responding falsely to reviews and just fix the issues- PEOPLE LIVE HERE. The absolute ONLY positive thing about this complex is the location. The rent is atrocious for the quality and service of this complex. UPDATE- When I turned in my keys, I wrote down my forwarding address for my apartment. It has been two months since I moved out and I have yet to receive my deposit back. I have called several times, left voicemails and emails. More often than not, my calls go unanswered. I have talked to two separate women, who have been seemingly pleasant- but the results have been incredibly unhelpful. I called at the end of last month in regards to receiving my deposit. I was given the amount (far less than the deposit I put down- I can only assume it was for “damages” like the dishwasher they never fixed despite many maintenance requests). I also confirmed my forwarding address. I called less than a week ago and was told I would receive said check in the mail by the end of the week. I have still not received a check. No one will return my calls. This is incredibly disappointing but so typical. I expect to receive the money I am owed. I paid every month of rent on time for the years I lived in this complex. I lived alone, without a roommate or pet. I was quiet, never had parties or received noise complaints. I kept my apartment clean, as well as the common space I shared within the building. This continues to reiterate my complete disgust from this complex.
