Excellent and caring staff. I was looking for a great value for a quick one night stay in my old collage town and found it at The Clarion Hotel. The staff was very friendly and listened to everything I asked for and accommodated quickly. They even helped me locate a safe parking spot in view for my motorcycle. For the money, the hotel was WAY better than I was expecting. Nice quiet room, clean and great working AC when I needed it from being on the road all day. Great overall experience and I will be back next time I'm in town. Some of the other reviews are a bit silly, acting as if they paid for an expensive, elegant hotel room stay. This room was very cheap and gave me a great value for an overnight stay for my short time in Williamsburg. You just can't find something this nice for this cheap. And a BIG kudos to the staff for keep everything enjoyable throughout each time I was in and out of my room. Thanks Clarion. Joseph

Positive: Staff was amazing. Hotel Was clean. Not updated yet but everywhere is short staff so they def had their priorities right with clean rooms. Breakfast was still bagged in am. Which was great for our lacrosse teen boys (3) to grab and go. Negative: They need to update rooms and they need to serve a hot breakfast.

This was the worse hotel ever. The front desk worker was really nice and pleasant. The room had no phone or wash clothes. The bedding was stained and filthy. The wallpaper was was coming off the wall. The sidedoor that needed a room key to open was broken. The lock on the actual room was also broken. Because of the bar that's located in the hotel it was extremely loud and guest were blocking the doorways to get in or out of the hotel. The hallway was filthy and smelled. People were drinking and having a party in the parking lot. A total waste of money. I only stayed two hours I had to leave early because it was unsafe and dirty.
