On the cufflinks of the Loop and West Loop corridors; this world famous building is home to one of two central city observatories. Skydeck gets crowded so come mid-week or early reservations, to enjoy a day of dining and Chicago sky-high views.

Most of the time you're queuing somewhere, at the entrance, in front of the elevator, in front of the Glad cabs and back at the elevator! I don't want to know what it's like this weekend!
The glass cabins are kinda on the wrong side too!
Wouldn't recommend!

Its attraction is the photo in the booths, but you have 30 seconds to take it, and you have to stand in line for more than 30 hours, you don't even enjoy the view or the moment of being there, it's just a floor with views of the city, compared with other similar attractions, it leaves a lot to be desired for its $45 cost.
I was there last week and if you could pay in cash, take your full vaccination card or certificate anyway, because in all restaurants they ask for it just like in museums.
It is very overpriced and according to my two children, the wait was not worth it. However, this was something that was on our bucket list to do and we won't do it again. We did get a good picture out of it, the staff took a picture of us with my phone eventhough they wanted you to purchase the tickets they took. I appreciated that.
It should biy be a problem. I wiuld suggest having the person look around on the 103rd floor for soemtime around so they get the hang of it, befofe you show them the actual ledge
Yes there are ramps to park nearby, but be careful because in the last trip some body broke our passenger window and stole all our property, so just be careful...
Yes you only need to show vaccination card to sit in the eating area by the main door, but there are other small places there to sit and eat that you dont need to show a card.
I didn't need one when I went there (9:00 am), bit that's because I ordered a CityPass prior to me coming to Chicago.
However, I heard that if you rather order tickets on site as you walk in, you better get ready to wait 15-30 minutes to get in during mornings and nearly 30-90 minutes in the late afternoon.
You will have to go online on their website and fill in your city pass info and they will give you different options to choose from. Even if you arrive early or late. They will still accept you.
Afternoon visit during summer 5-6 pm (not the sunset). Not asking about crowds, just the ability to take a good photos. Is it possible to take a good pictures or the sun will make it impossible on the west side?

October – February: Sunday – Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 9:30am-9pm.
The Skydeck is open 365 days a year including Easter, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day
Has anybody used the skydeck + art Institute ticket option?
How does it work? Can I use my admission on different days?

This is a one time admission to both the skydeck and the art institute within 7 days of the date selected. You only get one shot per institution but I would double check to make sure
It is a glass structure that stands just one meter from the building. It's like a glass balcony.
how much cost of parking on 4 th july to 7 th july ?

You'll have to find out their hours of operations to see if they are open and parking is expensive in Chicago. Easy pay 20 or more. Het where your able to walk and maybe the hop on and off tour so you have transportation around without moving your vehicle.
If you can buy it when you arrive. But there is a long line to buy only the ticket to access the Skydeck. My recommendation is to buy the famous City Pass if you are going to be there for several days and save and take advantage of it. Also, if you are on a budget, I would recommend doing the Chicago 360 instead of the Skydeck, as it is newer and has a greater attraction. I only did the Skydeck and I liked it a lot, but the line was almost 2 hours and for what you see it is not a big deal.
This could be possible for tickets purchased online. We bought good-to-go for the day tickets from the ticket counters inside the building. Its better to call and ask them
You can spend all the time you want without restrictions. You can take pics for free even while standing on the see through ledge. They do have fixed cameras to take a pictures when you stand at the ledge, that pic is later sold to you or you can just use your own camera and not buy anything, they are nice enough to take your pics from your phone even when you stand at the ledge.
