The location is great because there is plenty of parking and you don’t have to walk to another parking lot of another business and walk back over. The wait staff feels a little under staffed. They were kind but seemed rushed and couldn’t spend as much time with our table as they would have liked. The food itself is great as always! The grandmas sampler is perfect, pancakes, eggs, bacon, ham, hashbrowns and biscuits!

Husband stop in to get food to going for lunch for us. They didn't know what hamburger steak was so he got me meatloaf greens and beans. The meatloaf taste like tuna and Stringy the greens taste as dish soap even with the vinegar and salt. I call waited 20 min for manger. He said he would replace the meal. So couple days we want to eat in and get the replace meal. I ordered hamburger steak it was burnt outside and pink inside Okra was cold dumplings well the only dumplings in the bowl was cold the sweet tea was sweet water. Husbands chicken was over cooked with old grease the beans was not good cold. We ask for Biscuits we get cornbread they was Lukewarm. The waitress had 3 tables and she would Disappear.she came drop ticket took off running in had to Hollow a cross the restaurant for a toy go tea and to box for that nasty hamburger steak and chicken brought home to give to my dogs. Had to hunt waitress down to take my meal off of bill. This is the second time we have ate a cracker barrel that the food was suckie. My husband love cracker barrel. I am glad we are leaving this weekend. Will not eat at this one again. We travel the USA and eat cracker barrel a lot.

I feel like cracker barrel in general gets a real bad rep. Now if your taste in food doesn't align with the "chicken fried" or "smothered in gravy" side of the food universe, then this place is probably not for you. This cracker barrel in particular (off shackleford) on our many visits has always been clean, the wait staff friendly, and we have never once waited for a table. On this visit, as we do 99% of the time, we ordered breakfast. I built my own homestyle breakfast, be sure to get "the sampling" of breakfast meats because they are all so good. And husband ordered the bacon n egg hash brown casserole, which he annihilated. They had on offer a few specialty summer drinks - one was the "rocket pop mimosa" and WHOA was it sweet!!! As in you've met your sugar quota for the day after one of these. But I will say it was super cute and neat twist on a classic. Husband got the standard OJ mimosa which didn't disappoint either. My only complaint lies with the biscuits and gravy - gravy came out a little cold and the biscuits were a little stale. I feel like both of these items have been better in past visits. Aside from breakfast, this place does chicken fried everything really well. Their chicken and dumplings are good. Their southern style side dishes are also to be recommended. Great place for kids and large groups. Bad place for diets lol.

It was a 2 at best. The waitress was fast but not prioritized or thorough. I observed other waitresses handling customers food with bare hands. The customers beside me had not even received their order after 45 minutes......DEFINITELY NEEDS WORK

Yes! Cracker Barrel is open during regular business hours on Thanksgiving Day and serving a traditional Thanksgiving meal beginning at 11 am. Make sure to use the Online Wait List to lessen your wait time.
Yes, masks are required and tables are spaced apart. Hand sanitizer is available
Ya, I think they are still new at this and are still working out the kinks.
I was a manager at a Cracker Barrel in Texas. I just wanted to add to Mr. Hamilton and say, that majority of the food is made in the morning and they make enough to last through lunch. If you come in between 3 and 4 you are getting food that has just been "stewing" most of the day. Whenever you go to eat try to get their as early as possible. At 4:00 all undused from day is thrown out and new is made. For the freshest food 5:00pm is you best bet. Also just call up their and tell the manager your experience was not good. He will take your name and issue you a couple of free dinners as well as a dessert. At least that is what was done at the location I worked at.
