I went to the ER three times in a row. I had number 10 pain from my back and neck. Had two disc compressing spinal cord. Seen several doctors, DR Campbell, Romash, and Orthopedic spine surgeon McKenzie. Could not get an MRI. I could have been paralyzed. I was told I could be flagged for going to the ER too many times. The doctors at Holly Redeemer Hospital could not identify my emergency situation. Rothman Institute could and took immediate action to address my emergency situation.

My nurse, Lu, tried to give me the wrong insulin. Wrong insulin. When I pointed out the difference between what she was trying to give me and what my doc prescribed, she started to doubt and interrogate me. I begged her to speak with my endocrinologist to get confirmation that what I was telling her was correct. When I asked her why she wouldn't do that she told me "we don't know her so we wouldn't do that." She also tried to give me my b.p. meds too soon. It gets better folks. Nutrition also royally dropped the ball. Brought me non-diabetic trays loaded with carbs. My guess is that they were never told that I was a diabetic. When they dropped me off at MRI the transport guy tells the tech "I've got 3051 here for you". and they the proceed to discuss team management regarding some sports team. I was just a number. When they finished they tried to send me on my way without my glasses. When the PA came in to discuss the results of my MRI results she thought they had done it with the dye. Wrong. It probably should have been done with dye, but it wasn't. She then tried to argue with me that it had been done with the dye. Grrr.....I was the one in the MRI, I think I would know. Finally when I got to see the doctor he told me how sorry he wss about the poor experience I had. Finally, someone acknowledged the comedy of errors that was going on at this hospital of horrors. And what's the most horrific thing of all, this kind of care has sadly become the standard. You get C- service and you and your insurance are charged A+ rates. Shame on you Holy Redeemer. Shame on you and your employees. Patients deserve better.

Absolutely wonderful experience. I have been in and out of ers trying to figure out why I have chronic pain in my abdomen. Holy redeemer was the one hospital that finally found the problem and gave me immediate surgery. They where very prompt and professional. The staff was so kind and comforting and I hate needles..the nurses where so gentle with my IVs. Hands down as many hospital I've have been to in my life this one gave me the best experience. They made me feel heard and safe.

This is easily the worst hospital in this area. Go anywhere else. If you have a heart attack, hemmorage, stroke, heart block, emergent c sections you will likely get air lifted out because they are not capable of procedures and treatment. You could die before receiving basic essential care. Small community hospitals are not safe. This hospital is not safe. You'll end up getting air lifted out if anything goes wrong. This hospital is not capable of essential emergency care. Don't go to this hospital. I would strongly argue this hospital would better serve the community if they closed. Go to Abington. Go to Jefferson. Go to Penn. Even go to Einstein over holy redeemer.

I want to add another person for contact related to your patient Asya Lapenkova. His name is Michael Pesenson (her relative).
A doctor
Try calling the hospital and explain your situation and ask to speak with someone in charge. Worse case scenario go in person
