Beautiful setting but I-15 is noisy ALLLLLL night. The mosquitos weren't any fun at all!

Great park, water pressure is a little low. Stayed in an RV site in the cottonwood loop. Clean, and you feel isolated even though you're next to the highway. Camp sites are big.

So pretty, peaceful, enjoyed my day, will return. Returned, a favorite place of mine. Very peaceful and serene

This is a decent place to do some glamping. Our sites were clean and spacious, but the noise from the nearby interstate highway was a massive detractor. The water level in the lake is extremely low and the beach is inundated with flies. Mosquitoes got pretty bad in the evenings, so repellent is highly recommended.

We were told to leave at 10 or have to pay another 25 for visiting family.
Yes you can night fish not just in the park but you can drive around to the south side and go up on the dike or find a spot anywhere from south east to south west and behind on the west Duke all night day or year round if u like ice fishing
Yes you can. You can catch wiper, walleye, smallmouth bass, channel catfish and black crappie. Just bring LOTS of bug spray
It is a state park. Not just a little neighborhood park.
Call and ask.
Ya but u have to be there before 10 PM the gates closes and the font open till 6 am so no you cant pay you wont be able to get in the gate at 1130pm
You won't get a camping spot. The beach will be full. If your boating you'll have plenty have places to enjoy your own little spot on the lake.
Yes, Willard bay freezes just like pine view. Only sections may freeze. The whole thing most likely won't beacsue this winter was very warm. But sections of the lake will freeze.
It is $40 a day or $280 a week for full hook ups. Tents are $28. They also have full facilities for bathroom showers rentals ECT. The glamping cabins are $68
You have to pay a fee to get into the park. Even when walking.
Yes- they have fire pits.
No the gate said they were not planning on it.
There's not a lot of places to ride them in the park, although the mountains are very close by.
$25.00-$40.00 a night depending on which campground. https://stateparks.utah.gov/parks/willard-bay/park-fees/
Eagle Beach, Pelican Beach, and Wiper Cove have rentals. The pond also has rentals for non motorized watercraft.
On the 24 it was 25 dollars to get in.
Take exit 357 on I-15, there will be a Flying J with a huge parking lot. Go west toward what looks like a dead end road, you'll take a left (south) and go down a two lane road with a brown ranger station. You'll stop there and pay $15 per vehicle (you can use the Flying J parking lot if you're meeting people. They accept card and cash) and enter the park.
There are free fishing spots on the North and south dike if you can find the roads but the camps sites aren't free at the North and south marinas
Yes I think thy still open just Google them should say for sure on site.
Yes
No u can not

Public phone 435 734 9494. I would differently call or look in your account you created. https://aspira.force.com/reserveamerica/s/
Not all sites at the South Marina have bbq grills - just there and if you have a covered picnic table you don't have a grill. You have a fire pit about 25' away from your trailer that you can use a grill if you knew you needed to bring it.
No idea? I would assume no since it has pretty dry surroundings. You probably want to head off to Jordanelle or Lake Powell for that.
No it is not a natural lake. Very few lakes in Utah are, outside of the Alpine lakes in the mountains. Willard Bay is used to store water for man-made uses
Yes - a couple told me that they came to the South Marina because they could hook up and use their washer and dryer there.
There is a flying j on the other side of the freeway from the entrance to Willard
Nope.. but if you are out very far from shore id have one on.. especially if on a SUP or kayak.. storms come in super fast with out much notice and the water at willard bay get scary super fast.. trust me..
There are areas that cost from $20.00, $25.00 & $30.00 for a tent.
They do they do however have Tire shredders so you want to make sure that you're going the right direction in and out at night
It's 15.00 a night for all campsite at Willard bag south and North marina
Fishing was slow
Mosquitoes are not too bad around beaches but in the grassy Campground areas there a little more of a nuisance definitely bring your repellent
