No, not at this time. Sorry.
We usually have at least 8-12 boxes of dollar books at any given time. They are restocked as they sell down every week.
Yes
I don't think they do but they might if they rare and I'll be able to give you a nice good price for him as well
Comic book shops will generally give you bottom dollar for an entire collection. If your comic books are "commons" you'll only average about 5-10 cents per issue. If you have any noteworthy issues, first appearance of major characters, special cover variants, art by celebrity artists, etc, you're better off having an appraisal done so you don't get ripped off. If any of your issues are pre-1990 I'd recommend having a knowledgeable friend help you out since that's about when older issues become significantly more valuable. Finally, if what you have are newer commons and you have time and patience, you'll get more money by selling online, eBay, Comic Collectors Online, etc, can give you an idea what they'd sell for. Good luck.
It depends on what the cards are. If you bring them in on Tuesday or Friday, our Pokemon card guy is in and can take a look at them. At this time of year, we are not buying a whole lot of cards right now. He can at the very least give you an idea of the value and what the cards would be worth in trade or if we are buying them at this time. Give us a call to make sure Matt is there before you make a trip out.
As per the order of Governor Beshear from July of 2020, masks are required for people who are able to wear them. We do realize some people have conditions that prevent them from wearing masks. Our employees wear masks and wash hands frequently. We have hand sanitizer available on the counter and in the back of the store. We clean and sanitize surfaces more often. We have signs on the door requesting for people to stay socially distance. We offer masks at the counter if you do not have one. We are using antimicrobial air filters and changing them more often than normal.
We do sell manga. It's a small selection but we're happy to do special orders or to add titles, just let us know what you're looking for.
No, sorry. Try Planet Collectibles on 42.
No, try Planet Collectibles on 42 in Florence or Coins + on Mall Rd.
Hi Shiro, We do occasionally hire. If you would like to bring in a resumé, we will keep it on file for 6 months. If a job comes up within that time, we will consider all resumés we have on file at that time. Include all the regular things that you would put on a regular resumé but also include the interests you have in our merchandise (ie. I play D&D or I read Image Comics, etc.). Thanks, Priscilla
We buy collections. You would need to call and talk to Mark. He's in weekdays most weeks. 859-371-9562. We do not really have trade days although some trades occur during our Magic tournaments that occur on Thursday, Friday nights and Sunday afternoons.
Not positive, but I want to say yes. They've got a ton of D&D products there from all the books to an aisle full.of minis and paints.
Ive been there and they do have both, they are super friendly and prices are very reasonable
We are not buying them at this time. On the Pokemon, you might check back in March or April.
This page is not monitored by the store. Call them
Hi Matt, We do not carry the Weiss Schwarz cards as a regular item but we are happy to order them in as a special order for you. Stop by on a weekday and speak with Mark. Takes just a couple days for them to come in.
They do, but you would most likely would just give them away. If you travel to Eastgate mall there is a card shop inside that is really fair on buying and selling.
No they dont. I called to ask because i have a lot of rare cards. I was very disappointed when I was told by the owner they do not. This Q&A needs to be updated.
Check with them first. But thru are very friendly and willing to help. Even if they don't take them. Id be willing to bet they could still recommend a place.
They do buy magic the gathering cards and sell Pokemon cards
