Be sure to schedule an appointment in advance. My daughter was photographed and processed within minutes. It was all easy and the woman at the desk was friendly and helpful.

I give no stars for they have no compassion for the family or the working community and the way they you have to get your drivers license now is ridiculous
P F (Porta)
Lost my license, had to get a temp here but they put the wrong name/information on there TWICE! Hopefully when I come back for the third time they get it right. I caught them the first time when my age, name, hair, date of birth everything was wrong. Second time they put my expire date for 2018! Unfortunately I didn't catch it

Very helpful and fast

What do I need to renew my drivers license if it has expired?
What will I need to get my Drivers license and a appointment
For a regular license is $32 for a renewal. If you've been issued a license in Utah since 2010, most people only have to bring 2 pieces of mail if they've moved.
How much is it to renew my id and what do i need to bring with me
Ok,go on the day you want and time before 5:00pm appointment is not necessary ,
Airlines allow you to fly with a temporary dl and another like a credit card. There will be extra TSA searches.
Forgot My DL at a car dealer they haven't send it back yet.what do I need to get a new one at DMV
Yes if your under 21
e
They probably do it at the registration offices
Yes, I believe so. You can do most of it online. You just show up with your number. Get your picture taken, pay the fee confirm the things and you're out of there.
call them (the drivers license division) and ask for the dr's form. i assume it was just routine checkups ?
It usually takes 2 to 3 weeks.
Right now you have to make an appointment for them to see you. If you don't they give you the website to do so and send you away.
Well,You can do an appointment or you can make a line as WALK-IN
I don't believe so, I just went and renewed my license and i just walked right in and i was done within an hour.
Just go down there by 7 a.m. when they open. If you call all you get is a computer voice that gives you the run around. I went down at 7, and was the first person there, got right in and was out in 20 minutes.
I called them to make sure they were open. Never could speak to a real person. I just went there at 7 a.m. I was the first person there. Got right in and left within 25 minutes.
No I was in there today and there taking walk ins for the written test👍
If it has a gold star in the top right corner, it is compliant. If not, call or go online and make sure your address is correct/updated, because they are currently mailing out REAL-compliant duplicates at no charge to the license-holder.
You will need to make an appointment
No
I did it online at their direction and although your physical license doesn't have your present address on it, if you are pulled over, the officer can see that you've legally changed your address. This is what I was told by the drivers license bureau and though I've not been pulled over, they reassured me that doing it online would suffice. However, you may want to call and make sure that nothing has changed!! And by the way, I think they tell you that you've only got 10 days, again, unless that has changed. Good luck!!
Yes
I believe so
Make an appointment online, fill out an application for a driver privilege card and make an appointment with the Driver's License Division (DLD).
Yes once you have an appointment the service is great in and out in 10 minutes
You can make an appointment for a license renewal and go here to renew it
At the DMV, just make an appointment online.
Cash or card
It is $23.00 for a Utah State ID card. Make sure you make an appointment. You can not just go out there.
I don't believe you can however you can make an appointment to renew it somewhat fast at the location
Go to their website, I think you may be able to renew it online
They have a website and you schedule through that. Dld.utah.gov under the menu you can select licensing service appt and go from there. Hope that helps
West valley driver license only does license and identification cards nothing for licensing your car. That's Dmv stuff
Depends, you can check their website. 2 forms of ID and or two pieces of mail
So you need to go to the office it's literally across the street from the driving test bring 2 pieces of identity paper id and mail is what I brought and they gave it too me there .....Calvin rampton complex is the name of it
Yes you can , but make a appointment it will save time .
Panting on if you've had a license or an ID before you need 2 pieces of mail that prove your proof of residency you need your social security card or your birth certificate and/or a passport This is also all available on our DLD website
Yes
Go to their website. They've got all the info you need.
Yes u need an appointment
You can walk in you just wait until they can fit you in between those with appointments.
I don't want to mislead you But I'm sure you can ... I'm always trying to help people with language barriers Offer my assistant English to Spanish or Spanish to English Wish you luck on your exam
Why?
You need the title, bill of sale if you have one, inspection and emissions passed, your drivers license and make an appointment for Draper office or Salt Lake office, West valley is only for driver license issues, good luck!
Their website can answer this better than I can. I needed my birth certificate and proof of my new residence. Check the website to be sure and make a appointment or they will NOT see you.
The registration division, thought that was self explanatory.
That has always been by appointment.
They only take people by appointments. The cost you will have to call them to find that out.
Yes all things at that location need an appointment
You would have to go back to there website and schedule another appointment. It will show you the next available appointment. Not the easiest website, but it is there.
I think so
Right now due to the pandemic everything needs an appointment
Covid made everything different and when I was going there in February, yes you had to have one. Trying to call is a joke and the wait is worst than the cable company. Try walking in
Ya an appointment is needed for everything
It depends on your situation. For instance if you are getting licensed for the first time as a minor or adult then you need both but if you already took the written for your learner's permit then you don't need to take it again. If you already did your driving test with your driving school you likely don't need to either. If on the other hand you are coming to Utah from another state where you were already licensed then depending on which state you came from you might need to do both or you might only need to do the written test but as an open book test. Basically if you come here from a cold snowy type state then only the written but if you come here from a place like Florida they may require the driving test as well. If none of this helps then your best bet is to call them to ask specific for your situation.
You need your license there birth certificate you should get a long paper that has stuff for you to fill out like height weight name all that I think there social security card and ye
yes
https://dmv.utah.gov/contact/scheduler
I got it renewed on December 16 and it cost me $32
It took two weeks for me to get mine
Get in quicker by scheduling an appointment.
Its best if you do. You can complete the paperwork prior to arrival....
You will need to have the title in your name.. Appropriately singed from the seller to yourself. I believe you will also need your emissions and inspections test. Keep in mind all this is done at the DMV not the DLD.
Yes... but, if you decide to go in without an appointment they will see you but it will be a wait.
$19 for a first time learners permit in that comes with Up to 3 tests which I believe are 40 question. After a road test I believe the fee is $39
You gotta call because it depends on why your license was suspended..
If you are eligible to yes. If you renewed online last time or have too many tickets or a suspension on your license you will not be eligible. If you aren't sure you can call and they can look it up for you. If you are eligible you will get a letter in the mail about 3 months before expiration that has a pin number to renew online.
This location is for drivers license. You need to go to the DMV for plates. I think they are doing appointments for those at the DMV.
Currently it is highly recommended. In the near future it may be required. If you haven't started the paperwork schedule it under learner permit. If you have done the paper work already and are taking it a second time do it under written re-test.
This office is in West Valley, in the Salt Lake Valley area. Here is the info for Delta: https://dld.utah.gov/offices/delta/
He will need to complete a written test at the DLD as well as a driven test pick up a drivers hand book and study it also if you google utah drivers license practice test you can take free tests and the questions you get wrong they will give you the correct answers
Yes, you do
I don't think that you need to take anything. They should have your file on record. I'm not certain on that though. So to be on the safe side you should call and ask about it. Have a nice day! 😊
I just renewed and they told me to wait 6-10 weeks for my card to arrive. In the interim, the temporary license is valid for 6 months. 👍
Yes
They are open, its nearly impossible to get ahold of them though, online chat was the only way I was able to talk to someone. They may ask you to renew online when you go but they didn't require me to do so.
Drivers License Division only deals with Drivers Licenses. MVR - Motor Vehicle Registration deals with all the other stuff. Hope that helps... Google Utah MVR for locations
I was there 2 weeks ago they were taking walkins not sure about the driving test though I would call them.
I was in and out in 45 minutes without an appointment.
Nope it's not appointment only there is a little bit of a weight standing in line that goes outside but it only took me about 25 minutes start to finish
I was in there yesterday and there taking walkins as normal 👍
Thanks for that question and answer that help me too
Visit the Gold Star Check on the website. Also check that your address is up to date (unless you're a commercial driver or a sex offender, you can update it online). If the card has been sent and it's been more than 10 weeks, you need to call/go in.
Yes you may. You will have to pay the permit fee again, and if your written test score is more than a year old (I believe), you will have to retake the written test.
There's 3 parts of drivers ed you need credit for, the classroom, the observation, and the behind the wheel. If you have not completed the driving protons of drivers ed, you won't be able to complete those with the state. You'll have to renew your permit though. If it's just the road test you need, they can do that and you only pay the fee for license.
They tell you 8-10 weeks is the maximum shipping time. At 1 week out, the request has barely been sent to the factory as they wait a week in the attempt to catch errors before the card gets made.
The office is open at 7am. It could be that the call center, which is who you are actually calling, isn't open yet.
Just go in early to avoid clouds and you'll be out in less than 20 minutes
Currently the longest it can take is a 8-10 weeks. It can be faster than that though. If you don't see it by 10 weeks contract the division.
You can make an appointment or walk in to any utah dld office. Provide proof of identity and address (only if your address has changed) and the cost is $23. More info is available here --> https://dld.utah.gov/dupdl/
No, sorry but you have to have a valid permit to take the test. They will inspect your permit before allowing you to take the test.
As long as it's a license and not a learner permit, you'll only be required to take a 25 question open book test. Make sure to bring all the documents listed on the website: https://dld.utah.gov/required-documentation/
No the West valley DLD is closed on Sat
If you've never held a license, you'll start with a learner's permit. If you don't have a state ID, bring all the documents (Birth Cert/Passport, social, and 2 pieces of mail w/a date w/in 90days). You'll do the 50 question written test to get the permit, so plan enough time.
$23 for a duplicate.
This is where you go!
Depends on what happened when you renewed last time. You will need to go into the office to get an answer on this.
The fees are the same regardless of what license you currently hold. The difference is in the written tests.
Renewal price is the same as everyone else. They can also have reinstatement fees with it if there were tickets that caused suspensions.
The state takes all major holidays off. So they're closed Monday.
This is a DLD, and yes, the 4700s location has a driving course.
For just your picture, you don't need an appointment. Though they're not going to take your picture for no reason or just because you want a new one.
You need to contact the DMV. This location is Driver's License only.
Yes
Yes it's just a written test
$52 and $9 per endorsement. Make sure you mention you're CDL at the camera when you get your number.
While there is a driving course that's used for part of the test, they still go out on the road for most of the road test.
The book is more better than the practice test online.
Paper temporary and the plastic comes in the mail. (8-10 weeks for the plastic because of the gold star.)
A MAIL with your name and address and your SOCIAL SECURITY CARD and anything that has your picture on it, like a passport. Sorry I can't translate this in spanish this is the best I can do. I used Google to translate your question
You want to go to the DLD cause the DMV will then you away. But you need your original US birth certificate or passport. Your social security card or w2 and proof of address 2 of them. If under 18 you can use your parents mail. You Will. Also need a parent to sign liability for you
Yes. It's a 25 question test and you get to use the book. Definitely recommend looking on their website to determine what documents you need to bring with you. dld.utah.gov
Call the call center find the number online at driverlicense.utah.gov
No. You get that from the DMV
I believe you would need to take the drivers licence test.
7am-6pm today and the rest of the week. They're only closed tomorrow.
This is a driver license division only not a department of motor vehicle office
Only until noon. If you need to test all testing must be completed b y 11:30
Yes
Yes they are. They only close for the actual Holiday.
2 forms of mail and proof you are u.
No it is for driver license only.
No Monday thru Friday
dld.utah.gov
No, this location is the driver's license division not DMV that would be the Department of Motor Vehicles.
Letters or paychecks you’ve gotten
No appointment needed, but it can save you time in line.
Yes. From the website: Holidays & Closures: Mon, February 19President’s Day
You just go back and get a new one I think its free
You can do it online. That way you can get an express number and save time. Just make sure you have more than the minimum requirements. They will scrutinize your documents and reject your application if they can find a way.
They will be open.
I have not sought a state ID but it may help you to know that to get a Driver's License you must present two recent proofs of address. Bills (utilities or the like) mailed to your residence are a good bet. My electronic bills were rejected as was a 6 month old paystub. Also note that they will take credit card payment. Finally, remember that the site is busy on Fridays and in the aftenoons and evenings. It's a real downer to not plan a visit for a low traffic time.
The best day to go is on Wednesdays. The longest I've ever waited was 30 min.
I'm positive that wouldn't be necessary as you must be able to drive a standard vehicle in order to be eligible to drive something that requires a CDL. Perhaps the best place to ask would be the DLD.
