How do i know if i need to do both wrriten knowledge test and driving skills test says one or both may be required.

It depends on your situation. For instance if you are getting licensed for the first time as a minor or adult then you need both but if you already took the written for your learner's permit then you don't need to take it again. If you already did your driving test with your driving school you likely don't need to either. If on the other hand you are coming to Utah from another state where you were already licensed then depending on which state you came from you might need to do both or you might only need to do the written test but as an open book test. Basically if you come here from a cold snowy type state then only the written but if you come here from a place like Florida they may require the driving test as well. If none of this helps then your best bet is to call them to ask specific for your situation.

So you have to take the written but you dont have to take the drivers test in the same day idk how you take it but yea
