The view on the front of the building is great. The staff was wonderful overall! 4 stars only for a miscommunication, but for me it was big enough to drop it down. The biggest downfall of this hotel is I feel the rooms could be updated a bit. It's obvious to me this is an older hotel when I walk into the rooms. The lobby area is wonderful. I love the location. I would stay here again regardless.

I am a Gold Elite Marriott member and generally prefer Marriott because I love consistency and knowing I get my money’s worth. This hotel did not disappoint. It was an excellent choice for my family. The location is excellent if you’re visiting Liberty or Seaquest or happen to be in Lynchburg. We met up with other family friends there and had a blast in the pool and the dining area. The pool is by far one of the best pool areas that I’ve ever visited. It’s the perfect temperature, and lots of towels are available. We’re even able to watch a game while swimming. The hotel staff was great and very accommodating. Breakfast was subpar, but I find this consistent for most small hotels post COVID. Our first room was very stinky, but when we called the front desk, they quickly made a switch. Overall, I would stay there again.

The lobby was clean and smelled nice. The front desk attendant was so kind and helpful without me even asking for her assistance on more than one occasion. Any employee I encountered was friendly and seemed to enjoy their job and know what great customer service is and how to put it into practice. The indoor pool was open and stayed open until 11pm. The pool was clean, nice and warm. Though it was 40° outside, the pool area stayed a perfect temperature. The room was clean and spacious. If you have the funds to pay for a nice hotel and want to feel confident that you didn't get ripped off as you're walking out the door, then look no farther because you have found the right hotel.
