Very well kept grounds, if you pay for the museum you can tour the other buildings. We only went through the museum. The beach is amazing, and rock collecting abounds! The water is great for those who brave the cold, and some decent waves to entertain the kids and the adults who are kids at heart! We even caught a freighter passing by.

This was a highlight of our trip. The Museums were awesome and informative. Beautiful views.

Excellent museum with artifacts from shipwrecks in the great lakes. They have the bell from The Edmund Fitzgerald. Nice gift shop and nice viewing platform overlooking Whitefish Bay

I love this place, the beach is amazing with a ton of driftwood washed up ashore. Plus lots of rocks if you're a collector. There's the museum, and the lighthouse and some Coast guard buildings there as well. Great place for photographers also!

Yes, there were dogs walking around when I was there on leashes.
Yes..I do not believe the center is open though..check the state web site for that
Pretty good size parking lot. I would say you could turn a greyhound bus around in that lot.
Don't pay just tour around lots to see. Not worth the cost. Beautiful outside and views and the lake and Michigan rocks
Not right now. It will be in May
Was there last night, forecast says foggy/cloudy afternoon today, freezing
I did not see any signs restricting it.
They usually do fireworks every year in Paradise not at the lighthouse itself.
Are you asking about the very first beacon? It has been "upgraded" several times over the past century. Google it!
It's 81 miles about an 1. 1/2 drive. Worth every minute! It's a must see! Enjoy
