Staff very friendly. Stayed in handicapped room #510. Two queen beds firm but very low. Room above bad squeaky bed springs thus very loud. Room so far back that had to use vehicle to get to pool & whirlpool. Very nice though. The shower was excellent. Had to pay $50 breakage fee I guess. Never ever had to do this at any hotel. We are seniors not youngsters. Suppose to get it back on charge card. Tia was extremely helpful in getting this room on short notice for 3 nights.

Very convenient location, great rooms for the price, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast, pool and hot tub great addition. People need to stop complaining about the motel/hotel issue concerning the walk to main building for amenities, they have exterior and interior rooms, information and prices are clearly available for you to decide what type of room fits your needs before you book. Our stay was great and appreciated staff attention.

So originally we were camping on the beach. Had a wonderful day, until a massive storm rolled in. We knew it was going to rain and we took the precautions. What we didn't know was that it was going to be hurricane force winds and over an hour of down pour. Needless to say about an hour in we had 2 inches if not more of water AND sand in the bottom of the tent and it started falling apart. So we ditched and booked a last minute room here. We managed to make 2 adults, a 2 yr old, a 12 yr old, and a 13 yr old function in a 1 king bed room. We were in the main building, so I can't speak for the other non attached buildings that are part of the hotel. We all immediately took a shower. The room was clean, the building was clean, and everything was nice. The comp breakfast was even decent from what I seen. I mean the lobby was full when we left. So over all it was NICE. The only negative I can say was the American woman on the phone quoted the room for $299 for the one night, and when we arrived the foreign woman tried to make it like $379 for the night. I was like uh NO! It was like 11/1130pm when we checked in. The women were pretty mediocre, not much personality to say the least. Just there to make a paycheck and not really wanting to deal with people. Ultimately a room for like 9.5 hours cost $299.99, then got a discount by becoming a member then that took it down, then fees and taxes and other BS it said $291.59, then something about some bs liability or possible damage charge and the total amount paid was $341.59. Which I think is absolutely ridiculous to charge to sleep and shower for a whole 9.5 hours. That's my only complaint. The customer service and the amount for a whole 9 hours. Like I said room was great. Walked by the pool and kids seemed to be loving it so I assume it was good too. Either way, if you can get a deal then this is a nice place to stay. :)

Worst hotel stay ever! Hotel is multiple 'motel' style building all over parking lot, they're not connected so you must leave your room (door straight to parking lot) to go into other building for ice machine, pool, etc. Air conditioner barely worked, mini fridge did not. On our second night, I awoke to a terrible sewer gas smell and became physically ill. When my husband woke up and complained of the smell and sore throat we put it together that this sewer gas was what was making us feel ill. I went to lobby to voice my concerns and was only told that a manager was not in but I could leave my name and number, never once was I asked what my concern was. (Later found out the front desk girl assumed I was complaining due to recent hot water issues!? , just another reason not to stay!) We skipped our last beach day and headed home due to not feeling so well. Management called and offered a 10% discount for the inconvenience, almost $600 spent at this place that made is physically ill and management offer to rectify situation was laughable. I will never stay best western again. I warn everyone that there are too many other hotels in this area to stay at this one! Beware!
