This hotel is one of the best I have been to in a long time. I have traveled to a lot of different places and stayed in my share of hotels, but this one tops them all! The night clerk is very friendly and an all around good guy. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. The room was clean and decent sized, would be perfect for someone on a business trip or someone from out of town visiting lake Michigan. Definitely recommend this place if you need a hotel for the weekend or longer.

The staff at the Hyatt Place Grand Rapids-South is wonderful. My daughter and I stayed there for almost two weeks as she recovered from surgery. They treat you like family. Southern hospitality is not just in the south! I found it at the Hyatt Place Grand Rapids-South! Thank you so much for making our stay wonderful!
