The positives, nice part of town with a little area to eat and shop. Not far from Broadway if you want to lift. Very nice bar and atmosphere in the lobby. Rooms were clean and beds fine. The staff was good, very nice and tried to accommodate us. This gets a 1 star for the fact the owner does not allow the customer to control the room experience. The rooms lowest temp is 68... which should be fine but it is very stuffy and the fan does not run alot. Tried to lower it, it will not go. Tried to put it from auto to fan, no such options. Literally the hall ways are colder than the rooms. Why are the halls colder then the rooms?!? Blows my mind! Does not make economical sense.. it's such a large open space to keep around 60. And the rooms barley get below 70. Could not get comfortable sleeping. We did ask the front desk about the temp, the staff brought a fan with him and set the room temp to stay at 68, which is lowest it will go. The fact he brought a fan indicates that this is a pretty common request or problem. Also, a reason for the 1 rating! Regardless... this should not be the solution. The solution should be to lower the core temps for the rooms and have the fan option for rooms to keep the customer comfortable.

The modern minimalist rooms were just right for me. A simple desk, lots of hooks, enough towels & Netflix made my stay very comfortable. The lobby area was often hopping with a pool table, Connect Four, pub tables, couches and a full bar. I think this was smart because it kept the room noise/partying at a minimum. The location is super convenient for walking to coffee, shopping and eating, then a quick ride to downtown. The bar doubles as the front desk, which may have kept the service a bit slow. Overall, I had a great stay and would stay here again!

The room was very clean! The beds are so comfortable. Our stay was kicked off to a great start at check in! The staff was exceptional and very personable, later in the evening we went to the bar to be met by a fun group of employees. The chocolate martini was perfect! I will be back Moxy😊

Fantastic lobby bar with artists always churning out great music and the staff were quite friendly. Some seemed a little impatient but most were great. Only complaint is the room I had was interior and I had no windows nor was there a closet. Could also hit your head on the counter top sticking out from the wall when bending over to wash my face and brush teeth. Otherwise I really like this hotel. Well done for making the gym 24hrs and the drink coupon. I got one when I checked in but heard my female friends got 2. I would definitely come back
