I spent 2 nights for business. Great front desk staff, valets, meeting room attendants, all in a gorgeous vintage late 1800s original train station converted into a hotel. 1st rate all the way. Great job. Team, keep it up and thank you.

First let’s start with the valet. Unprofessional and the greetings are terrible. No where to throw trash away if you’re in the lobby. One trash can outside that is overflowing each time I entered and left. Whoever took the trash cans away didn’t make a very smart decision. You can tell where she/he was coming from but terrible way to think you made a change. In fact trash wrappers and cans were left spread out through the lobby and front entrance/vestibule. The bar staff saved the customer service aspect. Cars were broken into during my stay and the security seemed to be useless. I would say if you like an elegant building inside and out it’s wonderful. All other aspects definitely need attention. If I ran the place I would be ashamed on the attention to detail and my first thought wouldn’t be taking away trash cans. Address the valet. Make sure they inquire with proper greetings. Shirts tucked proper standing. No sitting around. Second, security should do a better job all around from policing the homeless and the harassment or unwanted behaviors as they walk by. It’s quite unsettling be harassed for dollars and cigarettes at such a nice hotel. Management reflects this situation unfortunately therefore do better.

This was a return visit for us, great location, rooms are good, but there are a few issues. breakfast sucked, $ 25.00 per person for microwaved eggs, bacon, and hash browns. poor selection of pastries. on on check out day we went to the Grand Hyatt across the street, great breakfast at near half the price. On our previous visit they had complimentary coffee in the lobby, no more, actually some guy chased me down as i left with a coffee, thinking a 4 star hotel would comp a morning coffee for their guests. Somehow, other 4 star hotels we have stayed in, give you comp coffee. Lastly, my wife dropped her phone either in the lobby or our room, unfortunately it is in airplane mode, but you would think a search by the staff of the lobby couches would, it. I am beginning to think they just do not care and could not be bothered to look

Gorgeous hotel! Friendly staff at the front desk, bar, and restaurant. My room was cute and accommodating, the bed was very comfortable! I recommend requesting a room with a nice view, my view was not the best but I was there for business, so no biggie. The renovations on this building are top of the line, everything from the restaurant to the gym is beautifully designed. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and it is walking distance to a lot of great shopping and restaurants. I did have to valet my car, as valet told me there is no self parking but there was a huge empty lot that my room overlooked, I’m not sure if that was closed off. Also, my lights were flickering which was eerie considering the haunted room upstairs! Nothing happened beyond lights flickering and made for a fun story.
