You can tailgate in designated areas. There's too much traffic around to do it at the dome. But inside Champion Square they provide lots of music & live entertainment there. Just take a ride one day and observe where all the tailgating is.. And U will understand why it's not on the grounds.

No, they do not show the game outside the dome. You would have to go to one of the many bar/clubs that are in the area. Sometimes they're people out tailgating and they have TV's and stuff

Depends on the event. Some events require purchasing tickets in advance on a site like Ticketmaster while other you can pay at the parking garage at the time of the event.

I stayed at a hotel on the Westbank the second time I came in here. It was worth the 10 minute drive coming from the Westbank. Compared to paying for the higher priced room and daily parking rates of the hotel I was in

You can but not for the New Orleans Saints. ALL GAMES have been SOLD OUT since 2006. You'll have to buy them from StubHub or Ticketmaster resale site. You can also take your chances with someone selling them on the street.

You can bring your own binoculars. But, they can not be in a case. They have to be in your hand, a clear purse or backpack. That being said, even the worst seat in the Dome is pretty good. I have taken binoculars and not used them. Enjoy...Who-Dat

I asked the information desk for info on the same thing when I was there for the Louisiana Sportsman Expo. They have me prices and size of the booths with all the necessary paperwork.

Depending on where you are staying there is a Street Car as a form of transportation. Also Uber is a great option, pretty cheap, may Uber drivers around the city. Also Taxi and bus transportation.

New Orleans is the least dry place in the entire state of Louisiana. Everywhere serves alcohol on Sundays, it only depends on which vendors are present during the event as to whether or not alochol will be served there.

I wasn't impressed with the food, but at least it was reasonably priced, for a major sports arena.

In the city of New Orleans : A matter of minutes to 30 minutes. Mississippi Gulf coast : Anywhere from 2 1/2 hours to 3 1/2 hours. Tulane stadium closed in '75, the year the dome opened. It was an outdoor field, not dome. There has only ever been one super dome, it just changed names from Louisiana super dome to Mercedes in 2011.

The dome was repaired. But that was 2006 and 7. In 2009 that is when we wone the superbowl so it was then the money started flowing. Today the outlooks of the dome with the lights and new facilities inside were added to upgrade. And look up all domes and stadiums as the local fire marshals govern over max occupancy so we cant add more seating unless we add more dome.

There's parking available close to the Superdome but I doubt the Superdome would be able to accommodate for camper.

No parking at the dome is free handicapped or otherwise but if you take the Claiborne exit you can park at the home Depot or surrounding neighborhood free of charge just have to do a little walking. Lot's of tailgating early but for night time events it can get a little sketchy heading back
