A service appointment is not required. You are welcome to make one as it helps us schedule the right techs to particular problems. But if there is a line, an appointment does not get you in front of it. Call 888-456-8831 to speak with a service rep.
You can program the 2nd phone but can not use 2 phones at the same time. You can have 1 phone as audio player set up and the other one as cell phone by selecting the option cell phone only.
Probably not, unless you paid for it. If you bought used maybe if previous owner had one.
