Paid $200 to watch a physicians assistant input every painstaking detail of my medical history into the computer for 30 minutes. Was there for possible strep throat and it was a huge waste of time. She prescribed some painkilling throat spray and when I went to pick it up in the same CVS, they couldn’t even find me in their system (I’m a regular CVS customer and I get all my prescriptions filled at CVS) Ultimately, they couldn’t diagnose me or help me at all and I’m just gonna have to find a real doctor.

I went to a consultation at the CVS Pharmacy because I had a fever and symptoms of a urinary tract infection, at the consultation they did the exam and detected the infection, they gave me antibiotics that I already acquired on the spot, they also sent a culture sample (more detailed exam to know the type of bacteria) and today they called me in Spanish (I don't speak English) to say that the antibiotic is the right one (keflex) they asked me if I felt better and told me not to stop taking antibiotics for 7 days. The consultation with exam was at $175 dollars I think by American standards it is quite acceptable.

It was the last day on my insurance, had no appointment but the staff were very helpful to figure things out for me. Totally appreciate the efforts.
