Great views, the clearer the day, the better. 3.3 miles to the top from the parking lot, 95% dirt road. Well worth the uphill.

Steep hike. Impressive viewpoints. Path has parts that are just easement on the edge of working tree nut farm. Part is the access road to antenna farm on one of the peaks. Some benches peiodically to take a reflective viewing from just hiking. Outhouses at parking area and at mid-way up to the trail.

Loved it! Was hard in the beginning! Kind of steep but not to bad, the top is peaceful and beautiful.

Fun hike. Very hot in the summer! It is well marked with signage and bathrooms both at the trailhead and along the path.

Yes dogs are allowed but keep in mind the California leash rule. Also take enough water for you and your 🐕.
Without knowing their physical capacity, it is quite rigorous. The view at the top is lovely, we drove twice. Definitely recommend watching the sunset.
