Mezzo of Tampa Palms

I have been living at the Mezzo since March of 2020. For the past two years I have lived here, I have seen more improvements and promises being kept by the new management than I ever saw in the past. Everything they say they are going to do, they get it done in a timely manner. The roads have been repaved, the buildings have been completely updated with a fresh and beautiful paint job, and the landscaping is coming together as promised and it has made a world of difference. I trust that when I have an issue, I can go to the front office and be met with kindness and professionalism. Seeing the improvements come along every day have been so exciting to see and I am thrilled to call myself a resident here.

Moved in about a month ago and have been very happy with the complex so far. It seems like a lot of things have changed for the better since new management took over and they have a lot of good things planned/in progress. Everyone in the office is so nice and always happy to answer any questions I may have. There is a lot of construction currently but I know they are trying to update and make everything look nicer and such, plus the hours they do it are appropriate for noise. They are even going around and doing landscaping and planting new lively looking things which I love to see. Location of the complex is really awesome too. The gym equipment works good and is always clean. I would however like to maybe have more regular parking spots since after ~8pm it is very hard to find a spot. Other than that I have been very pleased with my experience here so far. My roommates lived here a year before me and have been very happy with this new management and say that it has been a huge change for the better. Looking forward to the positive changes in the future!

I would never recommend Mezzo to anyone. Please, please do not move here you will regret it. The new management is an absolute nightmare, and they are destroying our entire apartment complex. They have started sending out notices about fines and evictions to all residents for things like storing a bike on your patio. They tore out all of the foliage that made our complex so beautiful, lush, and unique. No one is receiving pro-rated rent for having to put up with constant, loud construction starting at 7am and an apartment complex that looks like a literal war-zone. The whole neighborhood is littered with trash from construction, the ground is torn up everywhere there used to be beautiful tropical plants, and some units have their whole porches torn off. Mold in units, pest control issues that are never resolved, and not to mention the insane amounts they have raised the rent as they are now trying to market these units as luxury which is quite laughable. Parking is a DISASTER, some nights I come home from work and there are literally zero spaces left which I’m not really sure how that’s even possible. The people in the leasing office are no help, have no sympathy or concern for residents and practically laugh in your face when you present them with issues. And I find their attempt to counteract bad reviews with bot accounts talking about how great new management is and leaving 5 star reviews hilarious. Please rent from anywhere else in Tampa, you will be sorry if you decide to move here, I know I am.

My name is Madeira Hoffmann and I’ve been living at Mezzo for well over a year and a half now and I love living here! They always come quick for a maintenance problem and they even went ahead and replaced my whole unit with new carpet! I would love to stay here for at least a couple years! Hopefully my rent doesn’t go up because I will be renewing my lease! This place is safe and beautiful!
